If freaks pics don't miraculously make this figure look less sucky enough to make me eat my shorts and buy it, I think I'll wait for other offerings, like HTs Batman v Superman figures or SSCs Thor since they're doing a much much better job with Marvel.

Are people getting shipping emails yet? Looking forward to pics from some freaks.

Vote with your wallets. When people buy a $200 figure and have to customize it, SSC is still selling a mediocre product and making money. Let this thing sit around like Drake. Serves them right. Let them loose money and then they will start to get the picture. If this were $100, maybe it would be worth it to buy it and customize it. Not at $200.

the only picture sideshow will get is that the dc line was a bust and that dc comic characters are not sell-able. I think your expecting them to get the message but They won't trust me. the lack of success will be blamed on dc comics characters not there incompetence. once you can think like corporate you'll understand the way they think

I'm still looking forward to superman, the rest of the line has been fantastic so i'll judge superman in-hand. i definitely plan on bashing another superman together using one of the alternate head sculpts, hands and cape. i did the same with the joker as i loved both sculpts so much, it was actually a lot of fun for this non customizer.

Honestly, are we paying too much for what it is? Of course, but I've got the exact same feeling when I buy from HT!

Now, does it need to be modified? I really like it as is! Sure, it needs some serious futzing, but I don't plan on changing the body or anything! I really think that in hand, it will compare to their Batman.

Don't you remember all the complaining there was about the face, the paint aps, the big pouches and blah, blah....

Same here! Once they get it in hand, I'm pretty sure we'll hear "wow, man, it looks great! Pictures don't do it justice" and blah blah, blah...

I think people that are highly critical of a figure and want a company to "learn a lesson" don't realize that there are many out there that feel the way you do.

Me? I plan on changing the body out and maybe an eye repaint. But that's just me and I may change my mind after I open the box...ya never know.

I'd buy this if it came with a Dean Cain alternate headsculpt. :lol

Regardless, I'll enjoy hearing from the people that get theirs and absolutely love it. :)

Except this is the 5th figure in the line.:dunno
Joker & Harley are both sold out in the SSC store...
Their statues and busts seem to be doing well...

Why would superman not selling well give them that impression now?

Paid $250 for the recent Hot Toys terminator and had to modify him. :dunno

I do find it a bit boring to just take a figure from the box and put it on the shelf.....
