Yes, it was from Sunhoc (and despite some Charlie Sheen comments I thought a very nice version). Here are a couple of old pics with that one. I'll post the comparison shots as soon as my new SSC one arrives.

Charlie Sheen... that's who it reminded me of; been bugging me for years :lol

Still, a great sculpt and got people a 1/6 Padawan 7 or 8 years before Sideshow got around to it; not bad for a custom run.

I have fond memories of that sculpt. It was pretty much the first thing that got me into this hobby. I had to have it anyway I could. After a while searching I got one from hurricane! I still have it, and the braid, which may come in useful!

So UPS played a little April Fool's joke on me... last night I got a shipping alert saying my package would arrive tomorrow (previously was scheduled for Tuesday). So I get all excited. Then as I'm trying to reason it out I realize the email was sent at 12:00am; so tomorrow was already Tuesday :lol

Well played UPS :lecture

Ha Ha.

Then you need to go and see an optometrist.

No i dont, u just need to stop being a smartass. That sculpt looks just as much like robert patrick to me as it does charlie sheen.
If u colored the hair blonde, took off the moles and braid it would bare a decent likeness.
I guess different people see different things but being a smartass isn't necessary sir. :lecture

Lol. The fact you refer to me as "sir" pretty much sums up your *keen* observation skills. I know with a female avatar (of the non 'sexy' type), girlish username and explicitly referring to myself as a "princess", the clues were pretty subtle.

You have to compare prices, that is the value you are getting. If Sideshow was charging the same amount of money for the lower quality, then you would have a every reason to complain.

As someone mentioned earlier, Hot Toys concentrates mostly on 1/6 and it shows, but look what happens when they branch out, their quality suffers. Now, take SS, they have Statues, 1/6 figures dioramas, their staff can only go so far. For what I understand they only have 2 people in development in the 1/6 scale items. And, there lies the problem. Like I said earlier, you guys talk as if SS themselves make the figures, they dont, they use a company in China that makes them.

As far as the Luke goes, HT didnt develop 2 figures, It was only 1 with 2 heads. If HT would have offered 1 figure, you know darn well it would not have been 150.00.

Gender is sometimes in the eye of the beholder.

Why do you bring it up? Is it that important to you?

Any of us could be anything on here. I'm a female six two, bleach blond pole dancer with huge gazugahs, prove different?

Or just post via your alternate account on here.
You were being a smart ***. Don't.

:)

Oh snap!

Need more pics.

Yes, this! I won't be getting mine for a few days I think.
Faults and all, it's still the best prequel OBI we have gotten I think.
Can't believe they didn't put a real Jedi braid on him, it's sculpted right?

Even the old 3 3/4" Hasbro had a real braid!
:lol

So asks one of the most relentlessly negative voices on this board. :lol

Daniel (Sunohc) is a nice guy and a great artist. Seeing some newb put down his work does not sit well with me. When said newb is clueless enough to make an obtuse, sexist gaffe in his response, I sure as hell am going to pounce on that to mock him further.

Um, not really. This site is not anonymous at all for those of us who do business, which includes you based on your having a small feedback score. Lot of us post pictures of ourselves and many even meet one another in person (I've met two to date). But good show putting an Internet-worthy level of critical thought into your comment.

[Now that is being a smartass.]

Done all of those things, except date another freak, not sure my wife would approve..

but...yeah, yeah.. keep those dual accounts busy Sir.
:lol

Star Puffs, you need to calm down a little.

If you take it at face value and think that he indeed might not have known that you are female, then addressing an anonymous entity as 'sir' could just as easily be seen as a sign of respect and not an 'obtuse sexist gaffe'

...Because let's face it, amongst the ordinary folks just looking to communicate on things like 1:6 scale figures...or people like us, the 'net is also the headquarters of anonymous, armchair warriors. They thrive on the fact that a person can say or be anything without fear of discovery.

Everything about you screams "this person is female", but in a world of anonymity...that cannot be taken for granted. You should really be open to the possibility that you may have, on this occasion, jumped to an incorrect 'foregone conclusion.'
