This figure may be one of my favourite figures to photograph. Been taking pics all weekend. But here is a taste of things to come.

I concede. Apparently dressing up as Zartan makes anyone look creepy! I'll remember that next time I want to scare the bejesus out of my own nephews.

So if we can get pass this issue, I do have a question for all:
Can someone tell me why Sideshow changed Zartan's maroon colored hood that matched the pants from the prototype at SDCC to the now released red hood?

I always saw Zartan as someone with a "cobbled together" outfit, much like the Dreadnoks, so his hood probably wouldn't match his pants. He spends his cash on bikes, babes, and weapons. Not clothes. (or new armor, apparently...)

I kinda like that it doesn't match exactly.

Yeah, Ski's version is awesome as well.

Both Ultra and Ski's hoods represent two different looks Zartan had, which I like. I'm buying both!

Also Ultra your Z looks great but I wonder what it would look like with the bottom of the...towel tucked under the armor. Like a long hood instead of a lineman on the bench.

I dont have any cobra or joes yet ,but I ordered my 1st cobra zartan exclusive last night to go against my 1st joe snake eyes gonna look bad ass displayed against each other.....too a cool a fig to not pick up.....

Yea, that's why I sold off my storm shadow... He looks pretty bad compared to newer figs... And they will obviously make a new one

hes fine to me japenese are not usually tall or built heavily

I can imagine a 2-in-1 Storm Shadow re-release where he has the OG and Resolute-type looks, but it will probably be a long ways off. If we get a second Storm Shadow, it's probably gonna be the V2 toy version, with the gray angular shapes, though I'm sure SSC will take some liberties.

I'll always feel a bit uncomfortable talking about that figure, because I lost his claws in a field by my grandma's house. And that's a bad memory.

i have the same feelings about 4-lom...got my mailaway version back in the day and took him to church and immediatley lost his gun.
