Your only hope is if Bubba is a collector....:horror

I see we now have enough folks committed to make this figure a reality. Excellent!

I wish this sculpt was a little less esoteric so we could get more people on board.... but this way it will be more exclusive! You folks will have a figure no one else will have.

I have a display idea if any of you are interested. The contact I personally had with Stan had to do with the first 2 Jurassic Park movies. I sculpted the original Kenner action figures (funny story to go with that, I'll tell that later) for the first film, the Lindberg model kits for the first film, and the Revel T-Rex model kit for JP 2: The Lost World. Stan and I talked on the phone a couple of times, mostly regarding the models kits. I had to have access to images of the dinos during production, so Stan sent us the necessary images from his studio. Anyway, here's my idea for an interesting way to display your Stan Winston figure....

You can find copies of my T-Rex model Kit on eBay occasionally for about $20.00. Why not acquire one of those, assemble and finish it and display it along side the Stan Winston figure?

Think about it! Here is Stan standing next to one of his iconic creations, the JP T-Rex, both sculpted by the same fellow who actually talked to Stan about the T-Rex model which Stan provided the reference for... Does that make sense? :D

Here's my model kit, freshly assembled and waiting for me to go back and fill the seams and paint. Note that I modified the tongue so it's in the middle of the mouth as he roars:

And here is PhillipMarlowe's (at HobbyTalk forum) build. Looks pretty good once you putty up those joints! :D

already got my display thought out. a few dvds, ht endo, p1 figures and maybe the jp dio.

:rock:rock:rock:rock

I thought Stan sitting in a directors chair surounded by all of the HT and sideshow figures based on his work would be cool. I can add Iron man and Predator to the display now.

I can't believe there are only 9 of us that want this. I would think everyone viewing this board would want one.

Spread the word!! See if folks on other forums want in, etc.

I want to get started on Stan very shortly. I'm finishing up some other heads and getting some space cleared up. I'll start taking payments for Stan in a few days.... I'll let you know! :D

If we can round up a few more folks before then I can drop the price to the standard precast discount.

I have no idea but I blame Taj anyway! :D

who the hells Taj ? :D:horror:lol
I hope you don't mean Tay. :stick:lol

I'm not sure whats going on. Chris Howes has alot of work to get through and since no one has actually paid for this ( or at least I don't think they have ) I think this shouldn't be really classed as above anything else now.
I hope it can happen in the end. I still want one.

It does seem like Chris has enough on his plate to keep him busy for some time to come, but hopefully this will still happen in the not too distant future. I'm still very much interested, whenever that may be.

well if any sculptors out there willing to give this a shot are reading this theres quite a few people interested in this head. :wave
