Do what I do - beat her to the post, check it over, then bung it into the loft for a couple of months. Then, when I bring it down, she says, "Where did that come from?" I say, "Huh? What this silly thing? Been in the loft ages."

Another trick I do is replace each figure in my cabinets one at a time so she doesn't notice.

I'm a sneaky mofo.

Ha! Mine likes the figures too, but I don't think she comprehends how much over 300 of the little "Lumps of plastic joy" actually cost.

Only thing is, it's looking like I might have to sell the whole bloody lot when I move to the USA, so I've got to hide that too! FML.
