I think combing it is about as far as I'd go. I'm not too fond of the idea of putting hair product in her hair to tame it.

Pictures like this make me glad I bought all 3 of the year 1 kids yesterday! As well as the casual outfit for Harry from TA, it's pretty recognisable from that movie but I don't need a second figure. It would be great if Star Ace would release the clothing for Harry and Ron as expansion packs rather like BCS do for the Doctor Who figures too.

By the end of February my HP figure collection will have gone from 1 (Voldemort) to 5 (Snape too).
Looking forward to them all!

Can't wait to get Hermione! According to tracking should only be a couple more days! :D

Love this pic!! :)

:exactly: Me too, I was going to pass on the first year versions and only get year 7 versions - but they turned out so well I just had to get them! :)

Agree with the point about expansion packs - I wish they'd go that route too.

does the Hermione figure have unusually large feet/shoes?

I was watching a non-English video review of the figure over the weekend. Due to the language barrier, I had no idea what the reviewer (JackyChang) was saying but he spent a good minute focusing on Hermione's feet.

I believe he brought in a Black Widow Hot Toys as a comparison and an adult Scar-Jo's shoes/feet were surprisingly smaller than those of child Emma Watson. Not sure how close to 1/6 Star Ace stuck with the proportions - it's around the 11:45 mark of the video review.

Maybe it was done to stabilize the figure so she could stand. For some reason this made me think she has Ronald McDonald type shoes.

the feet look a little bit big, but i think it works really. its a great looking figure. the likeness is amazing.

Be glad that you can't understand that guy's idiotic comments.

The video reviewer spends much of the last third complaining about the lack of breasts. He goes so far as to hope for an older version of Hermione just so that he can get a figure with breasts. :slap

Yes, the reviewer was commenting that the feet seemed out of proportion with the rest of the body, being unusually large. Because the rest of the sculpt and body was done so well, I think the reviewer felt it was rather lazy for star ace to reuse the same male body that was used to for Harry and Ron instead of making a specific female body/torso/feet for Hermione given the excellence of the head sculpt.

Most little girls have the same torso as boys anyway, so i really don't see that as a valid issue, she's not going to have hips and breatsts at that age that will be so prominent that Star Ace need to put that type of body under such a thick heavy sweater on the figure.

thank you for the translation.

I had a general idea what the reviewer was getting at but not knowing the language, wasn't 100% sure.

I'm looking forward to getting this figure - BBTS said my shipment is imminent. Now I need to track down Harry (and not the casual version).

Just got Hermione!! Soo awesome, stoked with the final product!!

Although if I had to pick something.. I'm a little bit annoyed that the stands keep changing.. fair enough if they get better with certain figures I GUESS (e.g. Dumbledore's wooden base) but the trio having different stands? I know I know, i'm nitpicking, it's just a shame hers says her name but the others don't?

Hermione's feet aren't the same size as Harry's or Ron's :)
