I'm all for extra accessories and am looking forward to the figure, but it is odd they've chosen the coat he wears for only a few minutes in the entire series - while he's talking to Harry. Sirius goes to King's Cross as Padfoot and then jogs in to a side room. So, it's supposed to be a coat he's found in there to cover himself up with, not his own coat. Still does look cool though. I hope they bring out the Azkaban clothing set too!

Mind you, he does have a photo of the Order of the Phoenix on him, so how did he carry that? *Shudders*. Maybe he used a summoning charm - "Accio photo and giant fluffy coat."

The animagus thing isn't really clear in the movies - McGonagall and Pettigrew have their clothes when they change back and forth. Maybe Sirius is just an exhibitionist or only carries the furry coat around when he's planning on changing.

I thought the fur coat was a nice little piece of costume design in the movies. Reflective of his dual life as a black dog. Plus it just looks bad*** and might be fun to display next to the new Tyler Durden. Stoked that Star Ace is including it...

I was informed of end of this month / early next month by the retailer too. Be worth the wait even if delayed!

He's not delayed from the manufacturer. In the US the port slowdown is still putting things back a month or so.

Wasn't saying he was delayed (here in the UK, at least), was just pointing out that if Sirius does get delayed, the Star Ace line is well worth it. :) My fav' line at the moment.

Anyone had any updated ETAs on this bad boy yet? I'm guessing in the next month or so.

Man, I don't even particularly like Harry Potter, but this figure looks awesome. It's something that if I had some extra money rolling about and nothing to buy, I'd be extremely interested in.

This guy's coming. We know. I want to know when the Hermione or Dumbledore reveals are.

Yeah, just wondered if anyone had an actual date yet. I was told to expect Sirius at the end of this month/early next month.

I'm betting Dumbledore will be the Harris version first, but I would love the Gambon. Hell, who am I kidding - I want them ALL! Mwahaha!

Gambon didn't portray Dumbledore as he was written in the books. I know, Gambon didn't read the books. Going by looks, Gambon made a good Dumbledore. Going by demeanor (most of the time), he was a bad Dumbledore.

I've typed Dumbledore so many times it doesn't sound like a real word anymore.

he was a bad Dumbledore.

100% disagree, but everyone's entitled to their opinion.

My personal feeling is Harris was closer to the typical look and feel of the books and the old-fashioned style wizard, not to mention he was an amazing actor. But, I like what Gambon brought to the table - his eccentricity was like Dumbledore's character. I think they both had good and bad points.

Anyway, back on topic - I hope they bring Sirius out soon, he looks like an amazing figure.

You took that quote out of context. I was saying Gambon's take on Dumbledore doesn't match the book character's personality.

Nope. I didn't. I don't agree with "Gambon's take on Dumbledore doesn't match the book character's personality." But, anyway, different opinions make the world go round! :)
