They're Klingons? I agree with a-dev, they look fine as a design, but just make them another species, no need to change stuff.

The ongoing theory is that these are more ancient Klingons on a "Sarcophagus Ship" that have been awoken out of hibernation. Possibly they'll be in conflict with both the Federation and the Klingon Empire of the time period. I still hate the unnecessary design change.

Yeah, everything is waaay too modern and Nu-Trek-y to be a prequel story set before the original Trek.
Plus the usual "DISCAVAH YO DESTENi" crap. Ugh...
