She didn't portray Mon Mothma in Revenge of the Sith though. Her scene was cut entirely from the movie. Imagine her elation at being cast as an OT character in the "final" Star Wars film, then thinking that she'd forever missed her chance, only to then appear in arguably two of the greatest SW productions ever (RO and Andor) many years later.

she got an action figure at the time and deleted scene is available so still counts :)
Unlike Bai Ling who I don't recall ever getting an action figure (Lucas was unhappy she posed for Playboy so cut her scene)

IRISH Australian. Love her natural accent.

I knew someone would call me on that lol. I knew that, but Aussies will always count Australian raised non-Australian born Aussies as their own. It’s our selfish right lol. Russell Crowe, Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts, Mel Gibson, Guy Pearce, ONJ.

I love Aussies too but she was born in Dublin so she's ours and I will get her black series figure and HT figure if it happens!

Peak? The Crow was 1994... and her appearance as Jhiera on Angel was 2000. She's been dirty/hot for a very long time. Maybe still is.
Ok, yeah she was hot then. But 2002-2008.... mmmmmmm....

Speaking of the Crow, we need more figures from that too. Shame it is so overlooked

LOL ... fair. The Jedi in the OT were powerful but they weren't superheroes as in the PT and other media; it always struck me as weird the way Lucas turned an order of mystic warrior monks into 'Generals' overnight who enthusiastically (albeit ineptly) prosecuted a galactic war.

Luke was a 'ringer' in Star Wars who dealt the killing blow to the Death Star but couldn't have done it without the sacrifices of many others.

In ESB he was on a personal journey and despite his unique abilities could only buy a little time here and there on Hoth. Yoda wasn't a fighter and the Emperor was a diabolical puppet master with Vader as an enforcer.

By ROTJ stakes were higher due in part to a confluence of events and dead Bothans -- but again, Luke helped cripple the Imperial leadership but without scores of brave rebel fighters, the war machine would likely have prevailed regardless.

Despite Luke's key role and heroism in the OT, victory was always bought with the lives of ordinary fighters.
I mean that’s the whole message of the Clone Wars and PT though… the Jedi are arrogant, blind and hypocritical for engaging in such a war and ignoring the looming darkness.

Yeah ... but I thought it was kinda clumsy from a writing standpoint as to how they got there. It was handled a bit better in TCW with more time and hindsight, I guess.
