As cool as they looked, they also seemed like oddly specific weapons for a very specific use case. :lol Can they fire forward too?

I love how this continues to effectively show the scale of planets in the background. They did this with Rogue One too. In many movie/TV space scenes, planets in the background don't have that sense of scale when compared to the ships. Having the fight in low orbit like here and Rogue One really makes the planet (and space itself) feel massive.
Yeah I love those sorts of visuals as well, RO was exceptional at displaying scale ..

TIE Pilots are as stupid and utterly incompetent as ever, particularly in this show. At this pace the moronic meat-shield Stormtroopers going to be dethroned very soon.

Yeah, they haven't had a good showing in combat as of yet. They were actually pretty dangerous in Rogue One by comparison.

A few takeaways, from my point of view of this series before the last episode.

Acting, first and foremost the acting.....amazing performances, every Luthen scene has me sitting at the edge of my seat. His latest exchange with Saw was jarring.

The Mon Mothma scenes are all fantastic, you can feel her struggle and fears of what might be and the sacrifices she needs to make.

Andy Serkis, phenomenal character development in a few episodes, his realization at the end that he wasn't getting out. No pun intended with the ocean , but it reminds me of the saying, "I swam across the ocean , only to drown at the shore"

Amazing how in a few short scenes we see a strong bond form between Andor and Melshi, a bond that I feel was never really formed between Obi Wan & Anakin in the prequels.

This show has taken Star Wars to another level and opended the doors to a wider universe, no mysticism, magic, Jedi, this is a show about the birth of rebellion, strife, sacrifices, espionage, fears , double crossings.

Can't wait to see what the final episode brings.
