Did they really have to try a mobile gaming route with this?

All they had to do was tie trooper/starship/hero level/xp to score, like your personal/career level. Should have just stuck with a skill tree of sorts, where each level you get a point to send, thus unlocking stuff. Then even just charge 80 out right.

I would argue if they were trying something new, but they just tried to stick a f2p/mobile into a 60 dollar game. But at least they took out the money sink part, now it is just up to your time.

In the end...you can farm credits for crates for crafting parts to unlock/upgrade anything you want anyway.

Finally caved in and got this. My son kept hounding me. Microsoft had it for $38.99 (DDL) this week and for some reason they gave me a free $5 holiday credit, so for $34 I bought it. At that price it's worth it, even though this pay to play business model really irks me. Haven't had a chance to play it yet. Was hoping the campaign mode would've been longer as I don't play much so playing online frustrates me when I constantly die. Got tired of the 1st one real quick.

New maps are nice, but Finn and Phasma are the most useless characters they could have possibly added.
