Your comprehension skill with regards to words are clearly lacking. Hardcore is a bad way to say dedicated. There are no "hardcore" games on Xbox. I wish you could learn, but I guess you just can't. As for getting a AT-ST and camping the rebel base.... are you one of those people who send hate mail and cry that you lose? The goal is to win, not lay down and die so to the "game so much fun for the rest of us."
As for tactics, maybe you just are not as smart as me or the people I play with. Easy strategy to win Walker Assault every single time. Yes... there are tactics to this game, tactics to every game.

But it is incredibly frustrating when people abuse things like that. It ruins the game for everybody else just so they can brag about their KD even though they are aware they haven't really earned it. The aim of the game for me is to have fun... This game isn't much fun in its current state. Spawning right in front of an AT-ST with somebody like you at the controls gets tired real quick.

Wasnt bf4 premium £40 ? I know its a bit of a pi55 take, all dlc is reallly but in relation to other games, it was very well supported.

Well, so much for this game. Gonna cancel. I'm not paying 70 bucks for a deluxe edition game and then another 50 for the DLC.

I don't play for K/D, I play to win. So if it means spawn trapping the enemy team I do it. If it means me dying 30 times to go for objectives I do it. That is why I don't think this is a casual pick and play have fun type of game (at least on Hoth). It can get frustrating. I have been on the opposite side getting bombarded by walkers and spawn trapped, yeah that is definatley no fun, more power to them to be able to do that though. Maybe other modes are like that, but if you join in on Hoth... it will be a rough go... If you join in on Call of Duty... it is still fun (for me anyways).

Didn't you know? Games now are $100 or more. I really hate it, but I think Battlefront launches with a good chunk of content. I hope it is not like some other DLC based games like GoW Judgement... dumb game launched with four maps...

The $50 season pass is for the extra maps they'll come out with. You don't have to buy them but you'll only get to play the maps it comes with originally.

Always good to wait until you figure out if you like the game before buying the season pass that will have the extra maps, etc.

Hero Hunt sounds like fun. Seven opposing troops vs one hero/villain. Person who kills hero/villain then takes over as that.

I have to yet to find any 12 year olds that are good at Gears or Call of Duty. Misconception.

Most gamers are probably between 10 and 25 years old. Then of course have people in their 30s and 40s and probably older that still play, but the majority are younger. I don't use a mic unless I'm in a party with friends, but most of the people I hear talking through the speakers are younger kids in their early to mid teens.

I believe you do...I know on Xbox you need it, pretty sure Playstation went that way too with the PS4 (paid subscription for online play).

The deluxe comes with early access to one map I think and extra weapons and a celebatory fist pump or something. The ultimate one for $120 comes with the season pass it looks like.

Good freaking grief. I can see bleeding an extra 15 or even 20 bucks for new maps, but 50? Forget it.

Does anyone know if this game has a Team Death Match game mode? Something not objective based like COD has? Also, if it does, can you play vs AI instead of people online?

That is a shocking price, but that is modern gaming I guess. People buy it so they will keep doing it. BF4 is the last game I paid for all of the premium stuff, but that's a damn good game with loads of content these days. No way I'm paying it for this given I'm pretty disappointed by it already.

You watch them release prequel assets and Space combat as if they are doing us a favor and then charge for it....

I think thats the point. DLC is DLC these days but if this is to last the log haul, it needs to do something very similar to what Battlefield has done for DLC. I didnt have a problem paying for bf premium as its a great game and the maps literally doubled with new weapons, camos, gadgets...

Its the one game on this gen and last that i always come back to. I cant say that for many other games.

Exactly, if they gave us maps, factions, gear, weapons and all sorts of goodies on DLC once the game gets stale then I'm not so again st the price, but 50 bucks for just maps? I'm sorry, but no......maybe there will end up being a lot more in the DC besides just maps.
