guess Im the one of those foolish star wars fans that just geeking out about the graphics and having the feeling being part of the movies somehow .. I love the atmosphere... I will get this game for sure.. :lol

The game grabs me cause of that; the nostalgia. It captures the essence of the movie pretty well, exactly how alien isolation did. Recreating the world real well.

Good job frost bite / DICE.

But being how it's just that and no campaign, this will probably end up like titan fall. Play for a good while then eventually dump.

You're welcome, enjoy ;) It hasn't aged quite as well as I'd hoped tbh (the controls always were a bit awkward) but it is certainly worth a play though.

The first one is on Good old games if you have a PC, runs fine on modern OS but does have an annoying bug where the ship disappears off into the distance sometimes.. I just want them to add episode 1: Racer, what a cracking game that was back in the day.

Racer has issues running on modern hardware/OS

I wish there was an easier way to play Rogue Squadron 2/3, the Dolphin emulator works ish but sometimes has big performance issues.

Yeah, it's a 16 bit installer. I bought it off ebay a few years back and never did get it running, much to my frustration as I genuinely loved that game! That is why I'm hoping GOG will pick it up and work their magic to get it working on Windows 10. I'd buy an HD remake, or even a sequel in a nano second though....

If you're interested in playing it again check out this: https://www.play-old-pc-games.com/2013/12/02/star-wars-episode-i-racer/

After getting the installer to work the issue is the texture format which DirectX won't read anymore, but there's a fix for that.

I'm sure I tried that one before, but it seems to have been updated in January this year, I'll have another go, thank you.... Now where did I put my copy of Racer...

Decided I'm gonna pass on this. I just can't see myself playing it much. The objective based matches get boring pretty fast IMO. I'm a TDM guy and to my knowledge there isn't just a TDM match type in the game. No campaign, plus objective based matches only equals a pass for me.

Yeah, no way I'm buying it. Not unless it has lots of new features announced down the line or is significantly discounted.

Not really, we'll be playing better games...

I have a long list of unplayed games in my steam library any way, I think it might be time to try dishonored...

Dishonored was pretty fun. I am looking forward to playing the second one.
