It's a long way back to Vegas, and I have to admit that for most of the morning I have been quite depressed. The high of the convention certainly leaves a lot of room for a following low, with having to return to both reality, and work today as well. I've been trying to catch up on this thread as well as the Party thread too, but damn you guys are going nuts in here. I can really see that everyone involved had a most excellent time.

I just did a calculation and it scared the crap out of me. My total CV experience cost me...

$1725.40!!!!!!!! :panic:

Two prints, five autographs, a messenger bag, a pair of Iggy88 cappuccino mugs, countless photos of Freaks and real freaks, and the commemorative program. Maybe I shouldn't have splurged on the suite on the last night.

Oh, and one more thing. That was probably my best convention experience ever, and the Freaks party made it that way.

Gotta get working on the photos now.

I really took it easy on Sunday, even getting up late and arriving to the convention way after the doors were open. Saw the Lorne Peterson panel concerning models and such, and waited in my last line for Ray Park. I was kind of ticked because I had a seat up front, but the "VIPs" around me said I had to move back, then after I did, Jay Laga'aia came out and said fill in the front and tell them I said it was okay! Still I was only a quarter way back anyway, and Ray was very entertaining.

But did anyone try for Fisher. She cancelled, but Jay still got a 20 minute interview with her. When I stopped by the autograph area later, I saw she really had split. I hope anyone who still had a $50 ticket for her, got a refund.

Oh, and I damn near bought the limited Japan McQuarrie book, but finally pried myself away. Whew! Only ended up buying food and a couple of shirts on the final day.

Great, great show! :D

Also, I don't really want to change my signature. Maybe I'll just have Bam add an "I" behind the V and get rid of the date and location.

:lol
