Josh sometimes strikes me as the guy who would eat out of the garbage and tell the trash man what a delicious meal he prepared.

Seth Green already did this **** with Robot Chicken as well alongside Seth McFarlane on Family Guy. Do we need more SW parodies like this, really? I like what the guys at Slashfilm said about Detours--it's nothing more than this generation's Christmas Special.

On the one hand, yeah, who cares but on the other, like I say, it's too bad that this type of junk is all the franchise appears able to produce. It would be like the Lord of the Rings being reduced to Sauron fart jokes or something. Personally, I have no need to see such uninspired dreck and would prefer the three upcoming Hobbit movies, as an example. There's just no quality in this type of writing but I guess they're on to something as there's obviously a market for it.

Its a parody so why would anyone take it seriously. Star Wars produces the Clone Wars which IMO is pretty damn awesome. There are all kinds of comedy bits poking fun at LOTR all over the net. Some of them I laugh at and some I just shake my head and move on. Its really that simple for me.

Not bad. For the kids anyway, if you dont like it lol

Ackbar was funny! :)

Maybe you should all stop debating this and let the demographic of todays KIDS, age 4-10 watch this!! :slap:slap

You forget generation y thinks everything was made for them and they don't owe society anything. Sorry. Too political. I get grumpy when men cry and complain about cartoons made for kids. Makes me ****ing mental.

Exactly.

You people need to relax, if you don't like it don't watch it.

It doesn't tarnish the original trilogy.

Does anyone get enjoyment out of life anymore? All everyone seems to do is ***** and complain.

1:24 and 2:12 weren't half-bad. The rest was crap. I wanted to smack Ackbar.

No, it doesn't tarnish the OT....it tarnishes the whole Star Wars name. I'm sorry, but this takes a once proud franchise and makes a mockery of the characters that built that universe. I'd feel the same way if they made a rubbish show about Indiana Jones, Batman or any other franchise I wouldn't want to see reduced to this level.

In the end, how does that really affect you? If you don't like it, continue to watch just the OT and collect just the OT. Can't let that **** affect what you truly like. It changes nothing that what made the OT amazing.

Was KOTCS good? No. But did it ruin the Indiana Jones name for me? Hell ****ing no.

I just hate seeing iconic characters reduced to essentially mockeries of themselves. I hated what they did to Indy in KotCS and I hate what they're doing to Vader, Obi-wan, etc in this show.

You got to hook the younger generation onto Star Wars or it won't survive like it is now in 10-15 years.

It looks fun and entertaining. Am I going to take it seriously? No. Will I watch and enjoy it? Yes.

I can't even watch the OT any more because it doesn't exist. So no. Not out of sight, out of mind.

Who ever greenlit this is out of their mind. That's for damn sure. But I do know one thing for certain.

That's great. :lol

That clip should be titled "completely out of touch". At least Spielberg has a chance to redeem himself with Lincoln!

He already did with the re-release and Blu Ray of Indy with ZERO UPDATED EFFECTS! :lol

Making fun of Star Wars is hardly anything new.

This is how I see it. If I had kids or nieces and nephews I hung out with I would totally watch this with them.

Might even watch it anyway. :lol

You have some serious problems then dude. Have a nice life.
LOL....how can I have serious problems when the thing doesn't physically exist? Like, I can't go out to the store and buy it.

The only way I can get it, is by downloading it and finding a way to put it on a Blu Ray disc, which I just cannot figure out. :lol

I also love how you equate disliking a fictional property to having serious problem. You'd make a nice shrink. :lol
