Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

:lol

I see that SNIKT didn't like Wonder Woman which is no doubt on account of him being a lemming who saw it in traditional IMAX instead of putting on a dress and watching it at the all women screening the way it was properly meant to be seen.

I'll be wearing bulletproof wristlets...

...and nothing else.

Might do the headband too.

He needs to post a pic of himself at the Jedi premiere donning his Gold Robe and Slippers.

Easier to understand you if we organize your taste.

Other than RO, that's an unimpressive list of already forgotten movies. Your scores may be too high.

That's sorta my point.....nothing recently has really been done way above average. (7/10) and most of what I rated higher is due to personal nostalgia....

Well, branding basically works on personal nostalgia. We ain't gonna get anything that doesn't tap into some quantifiable memory.

No new space actioners... it would be Flash Gordon.

No new aquatic beast from the deep.... they'd remake Moby ****.

You can't get originality.... because there's no way to measure it. Therefore, only 'brands' survive.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

It is hard to find something original....especially after 40 years...

Last really original film I can think of was The Matrix. At the time, only some Japanese anime had come close to the subject.

Porgs will be back... and in greater number.

Maz will lead an army of porgs against the evil First Order.

Jye, can we please see a poster of this action to whet our appetites?

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

What would be a good title for EP IX especially since Abrams is returning

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

I can't figure out why they designed these porgs to have such a sad expression :cuckoo:

Even Ewoks had neutral expressions at first . But these porgs look like they don't want to even be in the film

If I looked liked that, I would be sad and depressed too. They're not owls, they're not penguins, they're nothing. Their only purpose in life is to sell plush toys to children that will tear them apart and use them as punching bags and grown men who will collect and stroke them.

What a sad existence, no wonder their facial expressions read "kill me". Poor little sobs.

Oh well, superior species coming through!
