Again, I agree he did very well with what he was given. Which was sadly not a great role. And Mark has made his opinion on that pretty clear. Imagine how good he'd have been with a proper Luke Skywalker script... Maybe we'll see some of that in EP: 9.

But it was a 100% proper Luke script.


You, me and all of the TLJ haters and lovers don’t own the SW brand rights so whatever Disney creates is legally the “proper” script.


While I might not like the PT I do recognize that they were “proper” SW stories.


But this is me recognizing that lol

Well since JJ is a LESS talented filmmaker than Rian I highly doubt he will fix anything that fans hate about the ST especially since the hate started with TFA so JJ is part of the ST problem.


Unless the directive from Disney is “GIVE EVERYTHING THE PISSED OFF FANS WANT, EVERYTHING”
