Holy crap! Is this real?

I was just asked to take a survey, couldn't watch it, but it's from a reputable source

That's clearly just a shot of "Knowhere" from Guardians of the Galaxy.

Opening crawl:

Another Superweapon! Somehow, despite the destruction of Starkiller Base, the death of Supreme Leader Snoke and devastating losses to their fleet of starships over a matter of days and weeks - the First Order not only remains a threat but has managed to construct a second technological terror, even bigger and more powerful than the first. It stands ready to deploy its full might against the Resistance and their flagship...the Millenium Falcon!

To which she will use the Sideshow Bob defence that it's merely German for "The men, the"!

Excellent Simpsons reference :lol

Well obviously this is true. Why build one when you can build two? Haven't you guys ever seen Contact?

Yeah. I really liked it, actually. I remember seeing it in the theater. I took a date and we were at the last showing of the evening, so it was after midnight when the movie was over, and it's kind of a creepy movie to see late at night. I drove her home and kissed her but didn't seal the deal. That still bothers me over 20 years later. Damn it....I have dozens of examples of dates that ended like that cause I was such a pathetic beta schmuck. But I liked the movie.

A super weapon powered by space horses!

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

Star Wars Episode IX Rose Tico has Awakened from her injuries sustained by ramming Finn on Crait. Her kiss to Finn was able to pass on through osmosis Rey's super skill and all together feminism at always being right and better than any man onto her. Together with Rey and Purple haired Lady's Light Speed Force Ghost they have become the Holy Jedi Feminist trifecta bringing peace and lack of male interference to the galaxy. All creatures are free and only females are being born. The galaxy has become a very boring place with out the likes of Luke Skywalker and Han Solo. There is no actual procreation because this new line of hero are perfect and there is no stopping them so they are just able to be born with all perfect abilities and have the answer to everything.

Actually I hope the movie is good and I hope most people just go for entertainment. Its just a movie universe and should always spark spirited debate.

Legend has it the superweapon is capable of blowing up a planet twice!

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

I hope that in order to blow up whatever superweapon they have this time that it requires the life force of all the main cast to destroy it. And when it's just not enough, the porgs come in and give their life force and the movie ends in a wonderful explosion.

Star Wars ... should always spark spirited debate.

This is the seed problem with TLJ for most: Star Wars was never about spirited debate (unless you count Blue Coat Han).

Star Wars was the ultimate unification using the simplest of universal story motifs; it was never meant to be divisive. But these are the times we live in.

The PT introduced shades of grey and moral ambiguity. I for one applaud LFL for realising you can't just keep trotting out the same familiar tropes times after time.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

Luke better open the trailer, close it and be in the middle of it lol

I bet they show Rose getting killed :lol
