Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019
How many damage control books have they released for this pile of manure so far? I recall they even explained how could bombs drop in space on FB, can't wait for the comic about space fuel next month.
Whatever they do in IX something that must return (from the PT no less!) are green screen environments, there are just so many beach, jungle, snow and desert planets they can get away with, that "Las Vegas" planet felt like scrapping the bottom of the barrel, this franchise needs more truly Alien environments like Bespin.
In the prologue of TLJ novel. Luke has a dream that he never joined the Rebellion and stayed on Tatooine. Yada yada yada the galaxy is a better place for it.
Leia doesn't want to do Han Solo's funeral. The people around Leia don't want Han to have a funeral. They think it's a waste of time. Admiral Ackbar is the only who wants to honor Him. He has to convince Leia to do the funeral. During the funeral, the people there just want it to be over.
On Endor, Han is carving a figure of Leia and she looks at it and asks him if that's one of the Ewoks. He gets angry and throws it against the wall and it breaks.
Han Solo was ****ed up in TFA. Not as bad as Luke but still significant. As was the Han-Leia relationship. All of the character progression was undone.
The work of postmodernists.
