Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

RDJ sitting next to Feige says a lot.

It really does speak volumes. Huge, i watched the Disney California’s adventure video of the endgame cast on friday and man, Rdj, given his past and his early struggles, clearly shows how he truly is a success story, all of a sudden he is staples as a popculture icon that will never go away simply because he is engrained in movie history at this rate he can ask for anything he wants and get it!!

RDJ turnaround was 1 in a million. Hopefully we don’t hear of him sliding into depression and overdosing after the music fades.....like so many have.

Now they back up a truck and he has to pick a corner to put all the money he gets. Does he get free hot toys Ironman figures?

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

It may have something to do with the level of success the MCU has enjoyed. The films make a lot more money now.

That’s known as the “oscar” raise!

Did Ashton Kutcher get an Oscar? :lol

I was curious to see if Natalie Portman's 2010 Black Swan Oscar translated to big bucks for Thor but on the contrary it ended up getting leaked that in 2011 Ashton Kutcher of all people got paid three times more than her for their "No Strings Attached" comedy.

This is what she said about it in 2015:

‘I knew and I went along with it because there’s this thing with “quotes” in Hollywood… His {quote} was three times higher than mine so they said he should get three times more. I wasn’t as pissed as I should have been. I mean, we get paid a lot, so it’s hard to complain, but the disparity is crazy.’

I'm actually kind of blown away that she is content enough with her own fame and fortune that she saw no need to throw a fit about it. Damn, she's like the anti-Brie Larson, lol.

Russo’s said they shot from Jan to Jan 12 months straight 7 days a week with 17 hour days for both movies.

:thud: :thud: :thud:

No way how is that even possible.

And to think that RDJ made only $500,000 for his first outing as Iron Man!

Evans $300,000 for Cap 1.

Only half a mil for RDJ in 2008? Really?

But that was against IM2 Avengers and a master plan. He must have been guaranteed a much larger overall deal. Cap as well, even though he had zero cache that RDJ had.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

Oh man, lol. Compared to Brie Larson's $5 million to play CM the first time. Such a poor victim of the patriarchy, lol.

Not a Brie fan. But if they were willing to pay it, good for her. That's how the free market works.

Looks like a trailer is coming this Friday.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

Back in the day this would have been a big deal but no one is really talking about this.

First teaser poster revealed. Just a black background with the text "First Jar Jar, then Rose, now...Hannah. Star Wars Episode IX: You'll feel like watching the MCU again."

The Last Jedi's tag line should have been "You'll believe a Leia can fly"
