If "Will of the Force" is indeed the title, they better hope that the "O" makes it into WOTF as the go-to acronym. But, it'd be hilarious if SW:WTF caught on instead.

Judging by some of Mark Hamill's comments in a podcast interview this week, I'm guessing he's not happy with his role in Episode IX. I say that because he's now back to criticizing JJ and his decisions in TFA. Here's some of what Hamill said in the interview, for those who haven't read it yet:



At this point, I wonder if KK or JJ will run the risk of having Hamill promote Episode IX in December. Seems like it'd be a pretty big gamble on their part.

I wonder have they done something to really piss him off. I mean he's talking this way again before the big promotion tour even gets going for IX? Seems like he just doesn't care anymore. He knew they still wanted him for IX because his presence in the film will put ***** in seats but now it's done and he's just gonna go right back to saying what he thinks.

Oh it absolutely won't, if that's the title. It ought to because no one takes the 'of' out of the other film titles - hah, ''Attack The Clones'' ''Return The Jedi'' ''Revenge The Sith''

I kind of get that title since we learned in TLJ in Rian Johnson’s mixed up way, anyone doesn’t have to train to use the force, they just have to bring it out of them by thinking about it

Yeah I would have thought that the absolute FIRST thing LFL would have done for Episode IX would be to make sure that Hamill was on board for whatever they were doing this time around. I assumed that that was half the reason he was even coming back in the first place. Him being the voice of the naysayers and declaring "they got my character right this time, rejoice!" before the release of the film could have worked wonders for bringing disappointed fans back into the fold.

I couldn't be more shocked that it's looking like they didn't do that.

Yup it’s not in my DNA to just completely cut it off because of Tico Johnson.

If AOTC didn’t kill my enthusiasm for Star Wars than a Star Wars movie that had Luke and Leia in it certainly won’t be the one to do it therefore I will be there opening night first show and if I like it then i’ll see if 16 more times that weekend lol

Aside from the hilarious acronym, "The Will of the Force" just seems really underwhelming. It's the Skywalker Saga they're concluding here, so I expected something more specific. "Will of the Force" just seems too vague, general, and . . . kinda lame after all of the anticipation for the title reveal. I'm really hoping that the actual film doesn't come out as such a wet fart as the title seems to me.

It is odd that 2 titans/fandom royalty of Hollywood such as Disney and Hamill would make such a horrible business decision especially in such a public display during Celebration.

What’s odd is that he was posting “fun” IX pics just recently so something feels off to me I don’t know.

That “one regret” of his is nothing new he’s been saying that since 2016.

I mean would Hamill really tarnish SW he even stuck up for the PT!

If he shows up and surprises everyone at Celebration I will lol
