I loved going to Celebrations but watching the live streams from home I just don't know that I could deal with those lines anymore. A *3 hour* line just to get into the official convention store? That's an hour longer than I waited to meet Mark Hamill himself back in 2012. Forget that, lol.

I’ve been to celebration when it was in Indianapolis. I agree the lines were crazy and everything was expensive, but the fans were great. Glad I did it at least once.

Yeah I went to three of them in Orlando. 2010, 2012 and 2017. Even without doing any of the panels just meeting the celebs and perusing the collectibles was great fun. And yeah, awesome fans to mingle with.

My wife and I just finished watching the Falcon escape on our 80” 3D and once again it put our jaws on the floor.

That scene is executed to perfection and as thrilling as anything in SW/ESB i’m sorry but it just is.

The 3D image of planet Jakku in the background as it leaves the planet is freaking gorgeous.

I forget how amazing the 3D is in TFA.

Nothing to be sorry about. The falcon escape is a great sequence that JJ did wonderfully and is one of the highlights of the movie for me.

On the other hand, I bought Solo in 3D, what absolute garbage. Wish i never bought it. Basically only noticeable during Kessel Run

If you're not even going to try and make a decent 3D presentation, then don't release your movie in 3D.
