That bothered a lot of people about the OT

He should have just flew out of Vader’s hands or something. [emoji23]

I think in lore they said that Vader used the Force to bind Palapatine willing his death. Much like they said Obi- Wan used force telepathy to lock Maul in a trance before he slashed him in half so he couldn’t defend

Maybe the "rise of Skywalker" is about Anakin returning to reclaim his legacy from Vader - subverting the perverted legacy followed by Kylo?

But it would have to be as a ghost right..Luke burned Vader’s body 30 years ago, so physically Anakin doesn’t exist :horror

Correction: that bothered a lot of PT people. No one flew in the OT. Nor ran super-fast (for one movie) or leaped 5-stories at a time.

I was being sarcastic.

But Palps should have been able to float or glide.

And I think if the technology was there Lucas would have had all of that in the OT. He was limited to what he could do in the late 70s.

However, you can see as the OT films progress, the characters do jump higher and faster, as well as glide and float.

True. When was the last rumor of Hayden being involved in filming?

There is no reason to bring back Darth Vader at this point of the saga, so naturally it would have to be in the form of Anakin . So why wouldn’t they have Hayden as a surprise, especially since Hayden said he wanted too.

Did Carrie actually film footage of Ep IX before her death . I thought they said she didn’t or is the hug scene a film double with Carrie’s face cg on the person.

Because Rey was wearing her new outfit. If they filmed the hug scene during TLJ, how would they know that was going to be Rey’s outfit for EP IX :dunno

You know I forgot that Rey had some of the Jedi books on the Falcon at the end of TLJ? Maybe Rey learned the styles of Jedi from the books :dunno

They’re using existing unused footage from TFA. There was a pledge soon after Fisher’s death not to use CGI.

Rey’s outfit switch must be CGI.

Yeah, it’s a pretty epic comment section.

But there are some that are posting how awesome the guys reaction is and saying some of the same odd corny talk.

It’s unbelievable that they took his reaction seriously. It’s clearly a over the top exaggeration.

I just took another look at the trailer... what the hell is she actually doing in those opening moments? There's a fighter coming at her and she's just standing out in the open pysching herself up, then runs away with the saber lit, then jumps at it as it comes up on her? Seems like something more out of a superhero movie than a SW movie. You think of the realistic ways Luke took down a speeder bike in ROTJ and ATAT in ESB and this looks like Rey should be wearing spandex.

If ESB and ROTJ were made today, a CGI Luke would just force jump and slash the AT-AT's head off and do a triple somersault flip to knock the Scout off the speeder bike.

And boy, do they love showing low-flying craft throwing up surface dust/spray in the ST.:lol We had the X-wings over the water in TFA, the salt/snow on Crait in TLJ now this - all the same look.

Yup. That's not the only thing. All the imagery in that teaser are things we've all seen before, over and over again. You could have taken that trailer and showed it back in 2014 and everyone would have had identical reactions. It's insane to me that people are still hyped up for all this stuff year after year after year.

Well, Luke awakened, then he was the last Jedi, now he's rising again. Subverting the pervert seems like the last thing on his legacy to-do list.

Insane? How about professional sports......

Same damn thing every year, balls thrown, people run, gatorade gets spilled and spit, butts slapped....

Same thing.
