Hamill in a new interview on IGN, on how Lucas’ vision of ep 9 differed:

“I happen to know that George didn’t kill Luke until the end of [episode] nine, after he trained Leia,” Hamill said. “Which is another thread that was never played upon [in The Last Jedi].”

Funny how he’s finally relating this now, and which part of it in particular out of what he knows.

The pendulum is swinging the other way finally....saw a bunch of people defending the film on another media site....

Yeah, everyone from fans to media outlets to LFL itself has pretty much got the loudest bashers' numbers now and understands that they're a small vocal group that would have never been happy with anything post OT/PT. They're rightly to be ignored and I plan on following the lead of most of this group from here on out and doing just that.

Picked up the 4K UHD steelbook from Best Buy today. Can't wait to give it a spin.

Yeah, everyone from fans to media outlets to LFL itself has pretty much got the loudest bashers' numbers now and understands that they're a small vocal group that would have never been happy with anything post OT/PT. They're rightly to be ignored and I plan on following the lead of most of this group from here on out and doing just that.

Yeah, I'll be doing some "babysitting" here myself.

Policing word limit counts, officially sanctioned threadcrapping and overworked narrative maintenance will be my primary focus.

It's a weeding ethos for sure, but being brave enough to say there's a difference between weed and plant is important in the post-TLJ world.

either you liked the movie or you didnt. and people have argued about it for 2 months.

But if other people are Recently defending it, then they are wagon jumping. specially if it feels like the pendulum is swinging the other way.
I can accept a couple of people changing their mind. but a lot of people? thats just a fad

Yeah no SW film will be all things to all people. But there are civil ways to acknowledge that fact.

I am eager to see it on my new TV , damn thing making me a 1080 snob.....

If all goes according to plan I'll have a new 4K setup that I'll be watching it on by midsummer.

Man I hope RO gets a 4K release sooner than later but it seems now that Disney has gone 4K it's for new releases going forward with RO just barely missing the cut.
