What's Palaptine's deal anyway? He wants 'absolute power'... and is fine working from the shadows all this time? I mean, what good is absolute power if you ain't gonna have a radical super base, enslave millions, and party like a rock star all night? Who's he gonna brag to in the shadows -- "I did that, you know?" His character is getting razor thin on motivation.


I guess its his evil Force Ghost that is representing all the Dark Side right now. And the Rise of Skywalker could mean Luke's good and shiny Force Ghost awakens to challenge him.

Force Ghost showdown between Palpatine and Luke in the bodies of Kylo and Rey respectively. I see Astral Luke getting knocked out of Rey for a moment... then Rey-Luke knocks the Palps out of Kylo! Oh it will be glorious.

Then Palps gets knocked into Rey, Luke into Kylo, and Yoda and Ben together get knocked into Big Nose Lady and argue over who controls her. Hijinks ensue.

I think your close actually, but Rey is Vader and Kylo is the Emperor.

The show down that should have happened in ROTJ.

I thought it was common knowledge that

Palpatine is just an old recording in the movie, same as Luke. MAYBE Luke will have a 2 minute cameo as a force ghost, but based on all reports Palpatine as we know him is just a recording. But he may or may not "possess Dr. Who. The trailer we got at Celebration was the most misleading, pandering one yet. If people don't already hate the ST, the last handful of people that actually care are gonna hate it by the time this movie is over.

.....just in case what I just wrote was not indeed common knowledge.
