jye from the future has a message for you.

Hold my beer.

Why, are you going to cry over how disappointing nu-Star Wars is?

I'm totally prepared and impervious. No matter how bad it really is, it won't be as bad as I imagine. I hope. Its the only way I can muster a little hope that I might be relieved when I first see it.

I think that TROS will get an early boost of positivity when people see it and realize that it's *not* TLJ. I remember laughing in the theater at some of the scenes in AOTC but came away liking it since it didn't have Jake Lloyd, didn't have midichlorians, and had barely any Jar Jar. But then it sank in that it was actually *worse* than TPM.

Have faith boyz.....

I have the answer from a leaked source.

According to my source, there is a flashback scene that will ?fix? much of what people didnt like (at least about Luke?s arc)

Apparently , we will get to see younger Luke in high gear action fighting off Kylo and the Knights of Ren. He has a longish battle scene, fighting the Knights culminating in the collapse of a building (on him). This occurs directly after Kylo coming to him in his sleep)

During this battle Luke uses his force powers to take on all the knights. However, during this fight Luke is forced to kill one of the knights whom end up being a smallish kid who was enamored with Kylo because of his heritage. This act causes Luke to give up his saber and go into exile. (Along with Kylo and his failure to properly guide him, which resulted in this child?s death.

It basically shows Luke as the opposite of his father in killing children, while giving him a stronger reason to give up directly fighting anyone with the force....and attempting to stay out of the conflict because he saw he too could kill children for a ?cause?

;)

I think my best strategy will be to assume the worst and then allow for the possibility of a pleasant surprise.

It does. Too late to try to fix what Rian did with the story, JJ. Stupid LFL Story Group. Should?ve had a story planned out to begin with. SMH

They are strong...

Star Wars is a battlefield, a duet battle between the Disney/SW Story Group and the fans.

"We are strong, no one can tell us we're wrong" vs "Why do you hurt me so bad. It would help me to know, do I stand in your way."

They end up both singing "And when all this gets old will it still feel the same. There's no way this will die."

At that point Captain EO shows up to stop the hate and bring it home in style.

And leaves both sides with a lesson in how to get in touch with the inner child.
