Meeting of Han and Chewy (plus mud planet generally), young Lando, and the snow train heist. A few other random bits.

I love probably half of RO, but only about 1/4 to 1/3 of Solo. I think the design in both films is much better than the ST.

As I always say, RO had it much, much easier because it's set "inside" the OT, whereas Solo (and ST obviously) don't have that, though Solo is much closer than ST so can trade a bit on OT easier, just like Mando will.

As I've mentioned before, I would have loved to have seen a Nolanesque (yes, he would have done it) ST with Hamill as a grizzled badass Jedi co-lead (think "Logan") traveling alongside a young protege co-star, searching for Han as kind of a Jabba-like crime boss that Leia left long ago. The protege could still have been Han/Leia's son, Leia trying hard amidst a failing/crumbling/bitterly divided galactic government. A journey to discover what the force is - like a monastery where there's dozens of Yoda monks or whatever, Luke hunted by a shattered but fast rising Empire that's still hiding in the shadows, only spies and a hidden new leader that seems to know Luke's every move. More like what we've seen of Mandalorian so far, or Rogue One in tone.

While it might not have been the four quadrant tentpole that makes $2B for Disney, it would have been in keeping with an honoring the older OT's stars as co-leads, not as "you're wise and old and now you must die." The SW audience is older than anyone seems to understand (there is no major "new generation of SW fans,") and they want something that creatively informs the OT, deepens it through the filter of age, not rips it off, cheapens it or mocks it.

This is a plot .....

Nice ideas.
My plot was basically the original cast has to sacrifice themselves to save the next generation from a new threat.

I always assumed Luke dying for the cause. And perhaps Han leaving and becoming the bad guy.

Beyond that, not much more.

I would have liked to see your film!
