A purported image from a very key scene in TROS has leaked. If this is real (I have no idea if it is), then it's a HUGE spoiler, and more concrete confirmation of the accuracy of the plot leaks.

I'll post it in spoiler tags below. If this is legit, this type of leak is absolutely embarrassing for LFL/Disney. I would imagine that heads would need to roll now. Still don't understand how this stuff is being allowed to happen. :lol

Here it is:

I don?t understand why that pic is a huge spoiler.

Okay, I'll provide context below:

This is after Ben Solo has had his redemption. The two blue sabers are Anakin's and Leia's. Rey gives Kylo that saber after he tosses his red one. They are working together to take on Palpatine.

Ah ok. I expected this too. Prolly why it didn?t seem like a big spoiler to me.

Understood. While I understand that most of us could've guessed that this story element would happen, what blows me away is how not only the specific beats about it are being leaked, but now (potentially) an actual film frame of it!? What are they doing over there? :lol I think it's a safe bet that KK, JJ, and Iger don't want this kind of thing circulating out there two months in advance of the movie coming out. Just total incompetence, imo.

Yeah same here.
Considering this is the end of the saga, Kylo had to be redeemed. Anakin turning to Vader at the end of the PT was predetermined and led to the OT and his redemption. No way were they going to end the ST without a redemption factor. He's the only character that needs redemption.
. I'm still hopeful that this will be an enjoyable film to watch, although my optimism is being severely challenged. I've decided to consume any and all spoilers so I'm prepared this time around...

If they had worked out an actual story in advance. If Rey had somewhere to grow as a character. If Poe or Finn did absolutely anything with their missing backstories that might tie into creating problems for our "heroes"...

There's just nothing that can be surprising here because no ground work has been laid in any direction that could surprise us.

All they can do is use stilted cliches -- trying to draw emotions out of 3PO's empty words, showing Leia hug over and over, or having "every ship in the galaxy" rise up against evil. I'm sure on first viewing this movie will seem satisfactory. Its on review that it all starts to ring hollow, just like TFA did.

I'm not as excited as I normally would be, but that's entirely due to the bad taste that TLJ left. I will of course watch this and hope for the best. I'm hoping that this trilogy will go out with a bang, it needs to really.

If I were Disney, I'd sit back and take a breather after this. Get rid of KK first of all, I'm sure she has the best intentions but her vision of Star Wars isn't gelling well with the wider audience. Get all of the best writers and thinkers in the business into a big room and really plan out every aspect of the next trilogy rather than just letting different directors do their own thing for each movie. Take their time and make it infinitely better than this so so trilogy. I mostly enjoyed the spin off movies, even Solo, but the main trilogy hasn't been great on reflection (maybe this one will be)

Emperor KK will see you now, Rey.:lol

That was a TOTALLY different Palps that they double-teamed in TLJ.:lecture

For me as they get closer to the gigantic waves (great cgi btw) the connection to the big waves from Kamino is pretty obvious and what was created on Kamino.

That?s right.

So snoke is a non factor I guess lol. No mention of him at all. They basically said **** him

You have only yourself to blame. Didn't you read all the tie-in novels and spinoff comic books? Why would they waste time showing character development in the actual movies? :lol

There's truth in that

And the new Empire hiding spot is icy like Hoth... and you know what is on Hoth don't you?

That's right. Gundarks.

Snoke was kind of like Palps' little brother - borrowed big bro's style and swagger, even used some of his clothes and furniture, got owned, then big bro returns to restore the family name.

Snoke was the Fredo of the Palpatines (even if in real life, Fredo got Meryl Streep while Michael was with Beverly D'Angelo).
