Good. They should.

Oh dear...
Tweeter ... seems about a 60/40 split, 60% didn't like it and 40% did... roughly...
All reviews on IMDb got deleted. There were loads yesterday and now I just see 3?

Understandable. The fond memories of your dear childhood, when you were a happier person, are at stake, so I can understand how any criticisms of it would threaten that.
I read today that Lucas did not attend the premiere but no idea if that?s significant. Did he go to the previous premiers?
I remember him saying he didn?t like that TFA was so retro but later backpedaled. Then he said TLJ was ?very well done.?
over-laughing at mediocre jokes
No way I want to watch this in a regular movie theater with jackasses checking their phone every 10 minutes -- as if they have something important to check on -- and people eating stinky food and over-laughing at mediocre jokes, pretending to be having a better time than they are. And the worst part is waiting for the movie to begin and having to listen to the two idiots behind me discussing Star Wars as if they are insiders.
do tell how you would had watched it???

You need some time away from LA, Wor.
I would watch it with your eyes.

There's one element of the plot leaks that I thought would be dominating the discussion once they were confirmed, but I'm not seeing anyone talk about it. Maybe that means that some decent context was given that'll make it better. If so, then . But, if the movie doesn't provide a much better explanation than what is described in the leaks, I don't understand how this isn't a HUGE problem for anyone. I'll put the plot leak in spoiler tags, but I'll provide a setup here first.
If there's one key event to the whole Skywalker Saga plot, it's Anakin's turn to the dark side. Per the PT, he turned because he wanted the power to save Padme (and would've used such power to save his mom before that). Even though he was the *Chosen One,* and was supposedly gifted like no other Jedi before him, he couldn't manifest the power/ability to save those he loved. And it's a power that couldn't be learned (or accessed) by a Jedi.
So, with all of those critical plot points in mind, the TROS leaks say that . . .
. . . Rey and Kylo BOTH have the power to heal and keep people from dying. WTF!? If there's one new Force power that JJ would want to avoid bestowing upon his new characters - so as not to completely **** up the logic behind the story of Anakin and his fall - it would be this healing/resurrection power. But he decides to give it to not one, but TWO, ST characters!? And they apparently don't need to even learn it! This ability just seems to come naturally and instinctively to both! Holy ****!
Again, if a solid explanation is provided, then it might play out perfectly fine. But if it's as random and lacking context as the plot leaks suggest, then this film couldn't take a bigger dump on the PT. And by doing that, it would completely undermine the extension of that story into the OT.
Nobody seems to be addressing this (as far as I can tell), but it's going to be the key thing for me that will make or break this movie.
