The Finn storyline was a great possability for the story. As is, he could have been anybody and it would not have really affected the plot at all. Especially in the next film and I assume this one.

The Skywalker Lightsaber is a joke now. No explanation ever given to why it was where it was and why it called out to Rey other than... Reasons.

Yep. Even teased in TFA that it would be explained. (“a great question for another time”) Guess that time is never going to come.

Not so fast - the same people who put it in theaters are the ones who will make the decision whether to remove it.

There is nothing funny about the decision to remove a SW film from theaters. It's a historic decision that has to be weighed very carefully.

It's advisable to wear black, like a funeral - a condemnation not just of one SW film, but of all SW films. Well, the more recent ones at least.

I was on board with the ST - I even liked TLJ.

But it seems RJ painted JJ into a corner and he felt the only way to have an epic conclusion was to go waaaay over the top.
