I came here to read Jye's 3rd-viewing review enhanced by beer.... so where is it?

He almost made it.

Ask Khev, he should be able to tell you what JYE's opinion of the film is this week;)

Jye pulled a Wedge with Alita.

"I can't stay with you"

"Get clear, Jye"

Sorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry!"

:lol :lol :lol

I think it’s an American thing. In the UK, you’d get thrown out of the cinema for talking.
People here get annoyed when someone coughs.
I’m always amazed when people on here say that members of the audience cheered during a movie.
No-one would do that in the UK. Or at least I have never witnessed it.

American audiences are definitely different than other countries. I have never experienced full on talking at a screen, thankfully, it's outrageously ignorant and rude. I expected talking when I was in a theater near Times Square, but the audience was respectful... maybe they were all tourists and not locals?

Have had interesting experiences with movie cheering though. When I saw an early midnight screening of TPM, the opening crawl got a standing ovation and then by the end credits dead silence... lol. Everyone felt too violated "WTF did we just see" to even make a sound. Rest of the Prequels were silent since we all felt like battered housewives at that point.

Lots of cheers at the beginning and end of TFA. Even with its issues, it was a crowd pleaser.

Rogue One got cheers during the Vader fan-service scene.

TLJ got nothing except groans during the bad jokes, and a few boos/snide comments during the end credits. That movie was absolute trash.

Infinity War got a lot of cheers as well especially when Captain America picked up Mjoilnir and smacked Thanos with it. Had a lot of fun watching those movies in a theater, can't say the same for most of the SW films though and that is sad.

You?re not entirely wrong and truth be told i?m quite honored to share similar opinions with the Khev.

If that were true then jye would be a diehard fan of Alita Battle Angel, lol.

Preach it brother Khev

Jye pulled a Wedge with Alita.

"I can't stay with you"

"Get clear, Jye"

Sorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry!"

Holy crap lol

Ok so he has actually disagreed with you before. I don't even really know what Alita Battle Angel is.

Put on your seatbelt.

It was I who allowed you to know the location of the JJ cut. It is quite safe from your pitiful little hands. Oh I'm afraid the theatrical cut will be quite canon when the blu-ray arrives.

To be fair, American audiences have to watch movies in the theater as if it's their last - you just never know.:dunno:lecture

So hoot, holler and hiss to your heart's content (and fight - I saw a near-violent face off over kicking the back of the seat in genteel, UCLA-dominated Westwood in L.A. of all places.)

Kheev Palpatine, Second Son of Sheev Palpatine, Leader of the New Order, Head of Disney Story Group.

This has been approved, therefore becomes canon.:lecture :lol

(and you out-Jye'd Jye with that photoshop:clap)

Felicity Jones afterwards...

In Canada you'll hear the odd cheer or laughter for things you'd expect in MCU or Star Wars films, but otherwise it's not too bad. I hear some of you American guys talking about movie theatres and they sound like hell-on-earth.
