I think Americans have a serious problem with a secretly-hostile foreign government making greedy executives censor their media. The best part is that these movies have bombed in China anyway even with the removal of force ghosts and Black people. I don't understand why Hollywood is so quick to placate the Chinese communist party since most of the Chinese box office revenue goes to the Chinese government anyway and not to the studio.

A Star Ace Dementor ended up in an e-bay order I got and swear this thing looks like Sith TROS minions with the hood and all. Plus for the little thing it is (no feet), it's kinda creepy. U just need a group of these and Palps.

Other claims (unconfirmed): JJ did indeed film all the Jedi Ghosts but Disney said reduce the number of ghosts due to China. And Disney didn't like all the traction that the Finn/Poe shipping was getting so they said use Zori Bliss to show that Poe likes women, lol.

The ghost part MIGHT have some roots in truth:

Even funnier thinkin' of all this catering to China $$$ didn't go anywhere. Just STAHP Disney. I don't expect Chinese/Indian/British etc. filmmakers to cater to the U.S. and we shouldn't either.

Actually the DS wreckage in TROS is located on Kef Bir, a different Endor moon that is mostly water.

All you need to do is read the Sony Pictures e-mail hack and you'll quickly realize how racist/sexist they are and, don't forget, they move between studios like an STD moves between college students during Spring Break, so Disney/Lucasfilm is definitely infected.

I have never met a Hollywood executive that was racist or misogynistic. They just aren't. They produce movies that celebrate and promote tolerance, diversity, equality and harmony. Would and could never happen.

Yeah they were kinda plastic surgery Ewoks. I love that the TROS heroes arrived on Endor and did everything they needed to do without ever encountering an Ewok.

Oh. How does that work? So the ("atomized"...) DS didn't fall to the moon it's situated in a low orbit just above?

Like most I naturally assumed that they were back on the same Endor moon as ROTJ and honestly since the film doesn't openly state otherwise if you think the idea of pieces being on an ocean moon are stupid you can just as easily assume that the film (which is the only canon that really counts) simply implies that the Forest Moon has an ocean somewhere.

Now that I think of it they probably created a new moon since Ackbar's Endor hologram in ROTJ did show it at length from multiple angles with no appearance of any oceans. Since the ocean would have to be facing the DS it also should have been visible in planetary shots like when the Shuttle Tydirium was approaching.

Unless Endor has a very slow orbit and the ocean was on the night side.

It doesn't bother me that the wreckage ended up on the Ocean Moon of Endor.

It DOES bother me that so much of the Death Star shell remained intact. I think a mountain of rumble -- forming an iron island in the waves -- would have made more sense. But JJ loves the "gigantic dead husk of the Empire" as a backdrop, literally copying himself from the crashed SD on Jakku.

I guess it makes about as much sense as engine roars in space or any of the 12 dozen or more who-cares errors in the SW universe.

For whatever it's worth "massive DS wreckage" wasn't a JJ idea it was from Lucas' original ST outline that he had art drawn up for prior to the Disney sale:



George had the entire wreckage underwater obviously but otherwise JJ decided to circle back to those original ideas.
