Did yours have white borders on both sides? I have about 3/4" of white border on the two sides but not on top, so the Print is about 37.5" long and 24" tall.

No, you have to cut off the white edges. I spoke to Jason about this and the white is not supposed to be there but they didn't have time to crop all of the prints before the show.

thanks for the heads up on the palmer print. cant wait to see mine.

do you have a pic of yours we could see IJ?

Cool I was thinking about having it cut off but I was nervous doing it I am glad to hear someone else has done it before me. :D

It looks like I will be going back to Aaron Bros this week.:chew

Ohh yeah did you have it cut or cut it yourself?

I let Alison, Adam and Cat know that they're of course all invited to the SS Freaks gatherings at both SDCC and Dragon*Con (which is now official per Dave, BTW... and I'll be organizing it. Stay tuned).

Irish, if you need help organizing the SS Freak gathering at D*C, just shoot me a PM with details and count me in.

Hell, we could meet for coffee if you want if you're in the Marietta area. ;)

I just found this thread now and read through it. Wow....some really cool images in this thread. I had no idea there was even a 'Star Wars art' market... never mind one this big

damn, i need to get painting, lol

Back to Adam... some of you may or may not know that he's illustrated the cover of the official Con book for SDCC this year and it's a STAR WARS 30th Anniversary theme. He has a print proof for view at his Heroes table and it's incredible. However, a slight snafu on the part of the folks at SDCC will prevent a couple of really cool "cameos" in his piece from making the final cut (more from Alison on that when she returns). :monkey2 Adam also had an original Obi-Wan piece in the Heroes auction that was so jaw-droppingly amazing that I literally would not snap a photo of it because I know it would only make me cry later on after having lost out on it.

IJ, would you know who Adam drew on this year's SDCC cover? If it's a femme, then I may need to have AH! himself sign it as well for me so I can frame it! This is a welcome surprise because it gives me an extra reason to visit his booth (not only for the White Queen artwork).

Yep. It's Luke, Han, and Leia... with Leia being of the Slave Leia variety and looking quite amazing. :monkey5 (It's also one of the best Carrie Fisher likenesses I've ever seen, too).

Just a reminder for anyone going to CE - Dave NEEDS him some Hughes Leia print - will make it worth your while!

Many of the prints are available at Star Wars Shop now, I scored the Tsuneo Sanda print :)

Thanks for the heads up. Just got a Plunkett print. Only one more that I'm really after now.

They have the Vanderstelt print which is a beauty for anyone who's interested.

Cool, Plunkett's is probally my favorite. Only bad part is the odd size for framing.

You may want to email the artist about the last one, It looks like he may have not sold his to SWS.

So Cool I just picked up 3 of the 6 prints I wanted from CIV:

-Jan Duursema

Anyone have a pic of Rood's print? I'm really on the fence about it because the Luke likeness just seems off to me.

I really love this, but Luke's likeness just seems off. And as he's the focal point of the print, I have a hard time justifying $100 on this.

Did the price on Rood's print change from C4? I picked up BOTH of his prints (his C4 print and the "Imagination" print) there for $120.

And, yeah folks... Swabie is right. Don't sit too long before pulling the trigger on some of these. For example, I know that SWS only had a total of 30 of Cat's prints.

Thanks for the head's up! I just snagged a few of these this morning:

Brian Rood
Joe Corroney
Allison Sohn
Kilian Plunkett
Craig Howell
Cat Staggs
