HOLY *****!!! I just got my Vanderstelt print and it is a thing of beauty. I'm gonna take it and get it framed tomorrow. I highly suggest to anyone on the fence to pick this up while it's available.

Amen!

This is what I have been telling people about his LOTR lithos. Trust me... if you are a big LOTR fan... don't miss these. They'll blow you away when in hand!

Between how it looks and the reviews in here, I pulled the trigger and placed an order for the Vanderstelt.

Now, I have a tight budget and have lots of 1/6 figures and things on order this year and this purchase will make it a bit tighter, so my question for those that have seen it in person is, at the price for one print, with a tight budget, am I going to feel happy about my choice?

I like the C3 Vanderstelt a lot more, too bad that one is freaking expensive :(

All I can say is just wait til you have it in hand. Pics really can't do this justice. Every face is dead on and the print as a whole is just jaw dropping.

So to make a short answer long, yes

yep i dont have a Vanderstelt but judging from Seeleys Rogue Leader, it's a HUGE difference having it in person and seeing all the colors with your own eyes than to see it from a computer screen. Very impressive stuff.

Uhm... yes! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

P.S. Jerry is now a "Freak" (member of these forums!) You should PM him and ask him any questions you have. He's so nice, I'm sure he'll give you details galore!

Here is a detailed image (compliments of Jerry) of the Padme in his C4 print. Uhm... holy cow! If this doesn't make you feel better about your decision, I don't know what will!

Swabs, that's so funny because for some reason she was the first face I was drawn to. I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that I love her, but I don't regret my decision one bit.

Thanks for the image, I'm feeling good about it already, just tough when you're only reference is this:

It shows off the composition well, which I like, but it (now confirmed) does no justice for the execution and that is really what would or wouldn't make me feel okay about the expense, for that quality, I will be happy. Again, SWS images make some of these things look like a poster you could pick up at Wal-Mart for $10, it's tough showing off large, high quality images like this through an online store without hi-res links.

You need to have someone take a picture of your reaction the first time you see it. I had a friend of mine in my office when it was delivered and he we were actually talking about SW becuase he saw Jabba for the first time and had just said that ROTS was his favorite of all 6. Needless to say, he was speachless when he saw the print.

I'm sure I'll love it, I love good illustrations and art, especially Star Wars. I have this picture as a poster and it's absolutely one of my favorite print pieces of Star Wars, though I'm sure my CIV prints will top it.

Looks like I am going to be able to get the Tom Hodges print for my office. Very happy about that!! It's going to look nice in between my two displays of GG animated maquettes.

No kidding :lol

It cost enough on its own. Now all I gotta do is track down one of his C3 prints :monkey1
Just makes sure the frame opening its 24 x 36, the first one I got was a tad too small , you might want to bring it with you so you can check that it will fit.
