This game is one of the main catalysts behind wanting a PS3 instead of just a stand alone BluRay player. I have a feeling my life will somehow be less fun if I never play this game

I have played this demo 4 times through already- I can't get enough!
To me it's the perfect Star Wars game. You are an evil sith that can unleash hell with your force powers. I love picking people up and throwing them through windows or dropping them from extreme heights.
I read the graphic novel, so for those who are curious
Basically, it shows the real birth of the Rebel Alliance. It contradicts the deleted scene on the ROTS DVD, but seeing as how it was deleted, it wasn't canon anyways. Long story short, the Emperor "unwittingly" gathers up all his enemies and brings them to the Death Star (under construction) then the Apprentice has an epic showdown with Vader and the Emperor, which inspires those brought before the Emperor, ergo the Rebel Alliance. Then, of course, the Emperor says "Oops, Vader can you chase all those dudes down and kill them please??"
The main beef I have is how it makes the Emperor look stupid. Palpatine plotted the whole Senate takeover since TPM, but he makes this bone-headed move that galvanizes the Rebel Alliance. It goes completely against his ability to see and manipulate the future that he shows in the prequels. But, then again, he didn't see the Ewoks coming, so I guess you can rationalize it.
With how the story reads, the game sounds like it'll have epic moments that any self-respecting Star Wars fan needs to experience, but the gameplay will be repetitive and cheap. And yes, the Force-shield enemies are true.

Thanks for remind me why most of the EU sucks. Writer should have stayed true to the Delagation of 2000 arc story, because although those scenes were deleted from the film they are still canon (all of them are in the script). He is contradicting the canon and that is a bad idea if he really wants his story has some credibility.
Being in the script has no effect on wheither or not something is Canon. Shak-Ti Dies in the script, Killed by Grevious infront of Anakin and Obi-wan, but that was tossed out. In other words, as far as the Movies go, if it did not happen On-screen, then it's not Canon.
Just got mine back following the arrival of a most unwanted guest - The Red Ring of Death. As soon as I hooked it up again the Force Unleashed demo became priority. :emperor
Eh, my dicks big enough I don't worry about what game system I own
But I do agree, Wii is typically more for fun stuff; whereas the 360 and PS3 are hardcore systems. But right now I need a BluRay player so PS3 wins out.

George Lucas wrote the script so it is approved by Lucas. The reason Lucas deleted those scenes was because he wanted to focus on Anakin turn avoiding all possible distractions. Therefore, they are still canon.

Canon: "Gospel, or canon as we refer to it, includes the screenplays, the films, the radio dramas and the novelizations. These works spin out of George Lucas' original stories, the rest are written by other writers."
Delegation of 2000 systems scenes are in the screenplay so they are oficially canon.
