not. i dont care if you quoted your mom saying it. you are referring to the movie, so deleted scenes do not exist.

Screenplays and scripts are oficially canon. You can think whatever you want to think about it, but that doesn´t make it true.

Hasn't Shaak Ti been killed twice already in deleted scenes? Once by Grievous, once by Anakin?
Besides, "Star Wars Canon" only exists between George's revisions. Until he kicks the bucket, I don't think anything is set in stone.

I preordered the Wii Unleashed about three days before 360 announced the price drops. I'm not sure if I should be annoyed with myself or consider it $200 saved. :)

Let´s see it this way. If someone ever ask Lucas where are the seeds of the Rebel Alliance, what can we expect him to say?

A) With the delegation of 2000 systems.

B) I deleted some scenes that explain it, so I don´t know.

This debate can be ended easily be realizing that THE EU SUCKS ASS, including this lame new Rebel Alliance backstory in the game. How stupid.

I would expect him to answer the way he answers a lot of questions - "Well, originally...but then..."

With the difference that "originally" and "but then" lead to the same answer this time.

Is it the same answer? You probably know more than I do about it. I haven't gone into spoilers on the game so I thought the implication was that he had stated X in the deleted scenes and then changed it to Y in the game.

My point was just that SW history is never carved in stone while George continues to tinker. When ROTS ended it seemed like a safe assumption that Anakin never took an apprentice. Now he's had at least to.

I meant George Lucas doesn´t know what is told in the game or novel, because it is EU and he doesn´t care about EU at all. That leads us to the only option left, the screenplay and therefore "the delegation of 2000", written by himself and considered canon.

There are enough contradictions in the movies themselves, if we can reconcile those, I think people who like the EU can reconcile the conflicts between them. And people who don't like the EU can stick it in their ear.

The worst thing about EU is it doesn´t only contradict the movies, it also contradicts itself.

:lol Unlike the movies?

At least the movies only contradict themself and those contradictions are minor in my opinion. EU isn´t coherent with anything even itself. And don´t get me wrong, I love EU but I take it as what it is, a parallel SW universe.

I dunno, I look at it the other way, a bunch of different people writing EU material has an excuse to have contradictions. Six movies done (more or less) by one man doesn't really have much of an excuse.

That doesn´t excuse EU from its mistakes. One thing is Lucas didn´t explain why Leia remembers Padmé, leaving it open to interpretations, and another, two different versions of Anakin knighthood for example.

Force Unleashed Interview

Just thought my fellow Star Wars gaming Freaks might enjoy this. I had the cool opportunity to interview Haden Blackman via LucasArts. Haden's the man behind the upcoming "Force Unleashed".

Let me just say... he's an AWESOME person. Very impressive individual. Smart, witty... and just disgustingly talented. The game is gonna be intense.

Check out what he had to say:
