Looks like each version will be unique, like the Wii version isn't the same as the PS2 version. The PS2 version has a specific physics system for itself and some kind of Jedi trials thing, the Wii has the motion controls plus the Duel feature. PSP gets the Historical Missions feature--where there's like 5 different parts you can play from the movies. <--good graphics too. DS gets the typical DS stuff, plus some Multiplayer features.

I'm not sure if I really like games that do that. Just seems like a scam to make people buy multiple versions.. oh well. I'll be happy with my PS2 version.

Yeah, it's kind of disappointing when you buy one version and you're missing out on the features in the other versions. But it's also nice to know that if you buy the Wii version you aren't just buying the PS2 version with Wii controls added.

The "real" version of the game with be the next-gen one on Xbox 360 & PS3, since it will feature the complete physics system that the game was designed around in the first place.

Yeah rub it in for us poor folk who don't have one of those yet. :) But of course by the time its realeased I may.

I plan to buy a PS3 when it is released since I think that will be the best version. I guess in that way its better for Madden and I when it gets pushed back. But it sure is annoying!

If there is a best version it will be the 360 one, since the game was developed using the 360 SDK well before they started work on the PS3 version. :lecture

I've been debating between the two, heavily leaning towards PS3, but that does put a possible notch on 360's side..

I hope it's just more than "use force push to break stuff". That seems to be the only selling gimick for this one. I hate to sound skeptical, but it just seems like it's a physics based game for using the Force to throw stuff.

New Details:

Pricing will be less than normal.

Xbox 360/PS3 is $47.99
Wii is $38.99
PS2/PSP is $31.99
DS is $27.99

Very nice, and if you order it from the Lucasarts store you get a comic and it'll be delivered on the day it's released.

WOW thats very nice pricing indeed! I wonder how the retail stores are liking that lucasarts.com is undercutting them. Or do you think every will lower thier price to meet that.

so the did toss in a multiplayer system? where is it talked aboot?

They haven't talked about it yet. (at least for the Xbox 360 and PS3 version). Possibly they'll talk about it in the videos they're showing during the Star Wars showings on Spike, one of which is today.

As for price--I doubt stores care, it's just lower priced, probably doesn't make their profit that much lower.

I don't know if this is old news but they announced that Vader is a playable character in the first level. Seems like you get to cause a bunch of havoc on the Planet of the Wookies! :maul

I saw that tonight as well on SpikeTV. I think it will be an interesting first level to play as vader and wreck some wookies up.

I hope its a long game. Because I hate how recently every hyped up game keeps getting more hyped and keeps getting delayed and so on.....and then when it comes out, the game only lasts 10 hours.....

Thats all I ask for, a long game and i'll be happy.

True, games do seem to be getting really short.

I think that's due to how popular mulitplayer has become. Most people play the story mode almost as a "secondary" to the game now. Many people are looking for good multiplayer first and a good story mode second.
