It'll also be in time for the Clone Wars movie.

It's really sad though--GTAIV will be out before it as the first game with Euphoria and they licensed the tech after Lucasarts (Lucasarts doesn't own Euphoria, they helped the company NaturalMotion take their Endorphin program and make the technology work in a video game). They do own Digital Molecular Matter though, that was developed in conjunction with ILM.

I also heard that the President of Lucasarts who was recently fired was fired because he was delaying release so that it would be as good as it could be (apparently their game engine is terrible for development). So he left because of pressure to finish on time rather than have a quality game. Although that could mean that the Indy game won't be as good with new management who just want to get it out on time.

Good lord did they pittlefart around with this one. Anything less than perfect (or damn close) makes the delay (now over a year) absolutely inexcusable.

It's all Jim Ward's fault, I'm sure. Mr. Everything Has To Be A Mass Marketing Tie-In becoming President of LucasArts is coming home to roost now.

September 16th is my birthday!!!! Woo HOO!! What a great birthday present for me! Or rather, for my husband, since he'll be the one playing this game, but I get to watch! :joy

I heard he was actually trying very hard to make it a good game. Apparently the game engine they are using is very difficult to work with and so he was delaying the game to try and get it to be good but they wanted the game released more on time which is why he left. I just hope that doesn't mean something bad for the Indiana Jones game.

They still have not announced if this game will have multi-player yet have they?

They said it's going to but they haven't gone into any details. The Wii version will have some kind of duel thing with like 20 different Star Wars characters, but I'm guessing the PS3 and Xbox version will have some kind of online thing.

Maybe they'll talk about the multiplayer in one of the videos that they're going to be playing on Spike during the Star Wars showings on TV.

Checking out the new webdoc on starwars.com----

Looks like each version will be unique, like the Wii version isn't the same as the PS2 version. The PS2 version has a specific physics system for itself and some kind of Jedi trials thing, the Wii has the motion controls plus the Duel feature. PSP gets the Historical Missions feature--where there's like 5 different parts you can play from the movies. <--good graphics too. DS gets the typical DS stuff, plus some Multiplayer features.
