Very cool to see Speilberg get's it... not surprising as he is more than a one-trick pony.

I think Indy should escape all peril with a refrigerator... just got back and digitally add in a refrigerator to all of the scenes where there is trouble and they will finally be perfect :lecture

I don't think a refrigerator would work as a parachute for 2 adults and a child, whilst falling from a plane at 1000 feet in the air. Then again neither would an inflatable life raft :lol

I disagree... it not only shielded Indy from an Atomic blast, but provided soft cushioning as it was hurtled at high speed out of the blast zone.

Clearly; a 1950's lead lined refrigerator is impervious to all assaults. Heck, even Superman would not be able to see through it :lecture

Yeah, that scene never worked for me. :monkey1
You guys have no imagination! I guess building a small moon/gun to destroy entire planets is the cheapest and easiest way to subjugate galactic populations? What, they couldn't just set off a couple of nukes to prove their point? Not every Gungan is gonna have a fridge to protect himself with. Of course, a fridge could protect someone from a Death Star blast as easily as a nuclear explosion, I'm sure.

True, True. Can't argue with that. However it will need to have wheels for the mine shaft scene. :lecture

It definitely could, I have no doubt that if 1950's era refrigerators were available in along time ago in a galaxy far far away then they would have been the armor and shield material of choice :lecture

Still not buying the Bluray. I no longer support Lucas in continuing to disintegrate the movies I love.

The Empire was going to prove its point with a couple of nukes until Alderaan violently provoked them to an action of self-defense.

I think Indy would just have to stand it upright and shift it from side to side to make it though the mine shaft. It would take like 3 days, but no worries since the Thuggies would not be able to get to him inside :lecture

I'm surprised GL didn't change the end in SW to have the Death Star get a shot out towards Yavin (and miss, of course) to justify Luke & the rebels destroying the station in "self defense"! :slap

Sorry if this was posted already, looked but didn't see it....
