A quick question, I have a Sony BLU ray S550 and the 24P indicator light is always lit for all BLU ray movies, but it doesn't light up for Star Wars. Anyone else notice this when they watch it on their players?

My post indicated I cared? :dunno Carl you make sure you let everyone know you now hate SW and that you know what good movies are, that your standards are higher than others, and that yo know everything that makes a good collectible. As Batty said its rather tedious.

It's all tedious, actually. That's the very nature of online discourse.

That's not true. Every section has one or two guys who over does it. it is annoying. The great majority of posters don't tediously post amd opinion, repost, and repost, and repost and repost... etc..... Oh and usually these guys like to sprinkle their posts with hyperbole.

Okay, so just me and nam and Josh. And... you? :lol

Again, lighten the ____ up, fellas. It's all good. Well, except for Star Wars. That kinda blows now. :lol

:peace

I actually enjoy the back and forth, pros and cons, there is good humor to be found inbetween of it all :rock

Keep it going, I want to be entertained, not bored :lol

I'm ok with being the guy who enjoys what he watches, collects, and the video games I play. Thats why I do any of that. :lecture

Says the guy who mourns the loss of "that spark" he used to feel for star wars... so much so that even people he meets in real life notice it. :lol

I don't mourn it at all. I don't even miss it.

Don't know what the "people he meets in real life notice it" comment is supposed to mean, though. :huh I have 1-2 friends who I used to talk SW with who now understand I'm burned out. That's all. It's really not a big deal. I did think the ex-smoker analogy one of them made was funny and timely, though. :lol

The biggest difference is that some of us have thicker skin than others. It's rather silly to be that bothered by someone else's opinion or even the brevity or repetition of it.

Sorry, but it'd be quite boring on here of we all agreed with everything and sang kumbaya all the time. Balance is necessary to any discussion.

Besides, any of our posts can simply be ignored. If people want to put me on Ignore, I won't be butt-hurt, trust me. I'm fully aware of what this site is and I really don't take everything that seriously no matter how it may come across. But I ain't changin'. :wave

I don't have a problem with anyone's opinion. That's what they are, opinions. If you want to tell everyone you're butt-hurt over this or love that, go ahead. It's the sheer number of times some people, yourself included, feel the need to make their opinions known. If you've said it once, you've probably said it at least a dozen times. That's what's tedious.

And I've never put anyone on ignore.

But Batty, my friend, at least I try to be creative and say the same thing in different ways. You gotta give me that much. Or you don't. :lol
