Have you tried watching it in chronological order? Release order is kind of all over the place which can make it frustrating to watch at times. Star Wars posted an official chronological order and I found it to be much more enjoyable that way.

Why wouldn't they show them in chronological order? Ding bats. Now I'll have to go find that list.

Rebels is decent, more of the villains is a must though.

The new characters haven't grown on me yet, at least the heroes. This is around the time that I miss Anakin and Obi-Wan's constant bickering and familiarity. But it's still very early on.

The newest episode was really good. My only gripe is that I think it might have benefitted from being a 2 parter, as important a moment as it is. Like clone wars, the stories can feel rushed since they're restricted to a 20 minute runtime which I think is why clone wars went with multi episode arcs. Either way I'm glad the show is back.

Hearing Yoda and seeing Lando was nice and all, but they need a guest who can help with an action pack episode or arc. This guy would be perfect, not to mention he has one of the coolest SW ships ever.

Im still finding it very difficult to watch Rebels. Also the heavy Star Wars theme contained in every episode against characters not in "my" Star Wars world is challenging. Don't get me wrong I am giving the show the benefit and not "hating" as I watch but still after every episode aired to date....no loving it!!

I really liked the last episode but I agree they need to develop the antagonists. I think we need more than just the Military guy and the Inquisitor especially since we're probably not going to see much of the latter till Ezra is a better padawan towards the season's end.

I hope once they've hooked enough people they start taking more risks and making things a bit darker and dramatic.

They're still only really 11 episodes in the first season. I figure once they've got everything established somewhat, they'll go hard in the second season. I mean we still don't even know anything about Sabine.

I'm really enjoying it myself so far.

..................I'm still watching this, but having a hard time liking any of the main characters. They are all just static do-gooders/retread characters. I loved having Lando show up though, but even he couldn't carry the episode.
Hoping this show goes dark and soon, The Clone Wars carried a nice balance and between being generally kid-friendly and dark and brooding enough to be good Star Wars. This show is making me long for 'Droids'.
