It was a bunch of fan service. I hope Mando does not follow suit. I am getting a little tired of the call backs on that show.

Yes, the fan service is a major turnoff, for me at least. But I don't really want anything new either. Guess I really did hop off after the Skywalker Saga.

It?s obvious Disney bent over backward to give the old fans what they ?think? they wanted to see......

This is true. They catered to the ot fanboys and it just became a boring knock off but when they tried new stuff they were bad at it . Atleast the PT was like new bad or not

So we have.

New that was bad. PT

New that was bad again. ST

Old that was stale but serviceable. ST

This is why Mando will keep doing mostly the last one.

I'm all for new stuff... I am desperate for new stuff... I can not tell you how sick I am of Fett armor everywhere.

You and I both......

Prepare yourself for Iron Mandalorian Man

Hmm Iron Fett and his league of Yoda Younglings. Could be a crossover in the waiting with marvel. Watch Wanda bring in the Star Wars universe in new show.

Please god no.

Just No a thousand times. It cheapens both .

Star Wars exists as the entertainment franchise it is within the MCU anyway - Peter Parker references it, owns Star Wars toys etc. There's probably been tonnes of other references I'm not thinking of.

Apparently so do DC Comics. I think Tony Stark mentioned Kryptonite somewhere...?

I wonder if when MCU characters watch the PT they see Lawrence Fishburne as Mace Windu, lol (similar to Sly starring in "Arnold's" movies in Last Action Hero.)

And Thor couldn't help but notice a doppleganger for his old flame Jane Foster in the role of Padme.

It'll be the Holiday Special. :rotfl

The Lego Holiday Special is tying up the loose ends from the ST:

Also Lego Batman said "Iron Man sucks".

There, I think I'm done with Lego references.

Stood by the awesome satisfaction of TROS and didn't bend a knee to people white-knighting over fictional frog eggs either. :yess:
