How silly. Well don't tell him that Mark Hamill didn't know who his parents were either until halfway through the filming of ESB since George revised his lineage after ANH was released.

Yeah I am looking to see if he had issues with the ST before that.. I mean he did not like TLJ because of the story choice for Luke but so far I am not seeing other things he hates about the trilogy before this.


While looking thought I stumbled upon this..

And Carrie Fisher didn't know who *her* parents were until halfway through filming of ROTJ.

Anthony Daniels didn't find out who his maker was until TPM.

His precious HC didn't know how he was conceived at any point in his trilogy and probably still doesn't know, lol.

Listening to is again.. It is this video that he decides its fan fiction.. its no longer part of the saga..

I think he was looking for a reason to hate it because he was really bothered by how luke was handled in TLJ.

Weird. He is bothered by the lack of respect the SW was given for not having a plan for the ST.

Obviously he missed the SE of the OT

They mad at that SWT guy cause he made a vid about Anakin. Kinda funny it set them off this much. They probably should never go on to star wars youtube. i think they'd all have heart attacks at the videos posted. I find it hilarious. Reddit would be a nightmare for them.

I dont mind the video. its just sort of funny as he made some stuff up and pointed out obvious stuff. Its fun going back now and watching some of his older videos and why he feels the way he does about Luke and his passion and love for the PT.

It is weird that he wrote off the ST because Daisy did not know who her parents were and that she was not a palps.

It's funny cause he liked TROS and they called him a disney shill for it and he had to explain he wasn't he just liked the movie but I understand though. He realized the movies just had no plan and they grabbed a character for nostagia value.

The Ot had no plan I know but this was a new growing story that had no ties to anything whatsoever and the ST is a continuation of a huge brand. SO I understand why he wrote it off cause they just scrapped the bottom of the barrel for nostalgia value and tried to make it a plot point.

Please. Most YouTubers are a bunch of p****s. Den of Nerds guy loved TROS but then redacted his praise after reading that Rey was the daughter of a clone in the novelization. I replied saying don't be a coward and stick to your guns on what the film itself said and he deleted my comment. Retroblasting guy threw a flaming tizzy when I replied to his Skywalker Saga 4K video telling him that de-res'd SW dates all the way back to 1977 when 35mm SW prints were blown up for 70mm screens. He took down his entire video then did another one calling me out that that doesn't "count" because not all auditoriums had 70mm.

Those guys are a bunch of babies without their followers and wouldn't last two seconds here, lol.

Also JAWS I've seen far worse vids than this one. SWT guy isn't the only one. There are many on YT that both defend PT and some defend ST to. There is a vid picking apart the RLM reviews for the PT and a 45 min video picking apart the ST. I didn't watch all that tho. I'd get bored quick lol

Listening to them talking about Mando having links to the ST. The one guy likes the idea.. But SWT guy does not..

One guy says it will help the ST be more cool (Which is how I feel) and he is saying its what TCW did for a lot of fans with the PT (me for sure)

But boy he hates TLJ.. He is going off on it right now..

Ok well Why don't you Make a youtube Channel. Like I understand you like the ST but most of the guys on youtube have very sound arguments and vids. Like I told jaws there is a 45 min video dissecting the ST and many many more.

Forums are outdated. Take your arguments to youtube and Facebook and see if you last there. You'll get swarmed with debate after debate. Everytime someone says something positive about the ST they have like 230 comments under them with naysayers.

Now these people don't always have good arguments but alot of the times they do and some are OT fans

There's one guy who did an entertaining series of vids called something like "everything that sucks about TLJ minute by minute" or something where he reviews the movie in 5-10 minute chunks and absolutely skewers it throughout. A lot of his critiques were spot on and cracked me up. I still don't care and love the movie anyway since those issues never come up when I watch it.

I would like to see that one picking apart RLM reviews of the PT.

I have watched 3 hour videos of people ripping on the ST

I remember that about Den of Nerds guy.. Him liking the film and then turning after the novelization.. Weird.

Ha ha I actually did make some YT videos discussing the ST (and even praising elements of Terminator Dark Fate which I deeply regret, lol) but

A. Nobody really knows those videos exist

and

B. I'm actually much less abrasive in real life than I sometimes come across here so I don't know that my videos would trigger much debate even if they went viral. I really am quite chill about all this stuff in real life, trust me.

I think I had some wrong assumptions about Snoke after my first viewing though, I initially saw him as being a literal puppet that Palpatine "spoke" through in TFA and TLJ before coming to the realization that he was his own separate entity created by Palps.
