I always was fine with that line. Obi saw it that way, as Vader was a totally different person than Anakin was.

What I find amazing is how it appears that Alec Guinness pauses before he says that, and looks very guilty.

Knowing GL did not have that in mind, the acting fits very well.

Yeah, great bit of acting from Alec Guinness there. Even though he considered the material nonsense he tried to inject it with something more.

That was well done but now it just highlighted the fact that 90% of the Jedi were all just shot in the back unexpectedly and hardly "hunted down and destroyed." Man did OT Obi-Wan end up saying *anything* that was true? No I don't think he did, lol.

Most of them did get hunted down . It was just that montage of them dying kinda sucked . There is lots of lore about jedi being hunted and darth Vader tracking them down .

He even tries to track down Ashoka but could never find her until she reveals himself to her.

The comics and most of the stuff that wasn?t destroyed by Disney is so good

True. You guys really need to watch Rebels and Clone Wars if you have not.

They are not just cartoons for kids. The lore and story explains a ton of these questions. Specifically the last season of Clone Wars (before the new season)

And all of Rebels is very eye opening. I am sure excited to see if Ezra shows up in Mandalorian.

This is a valid point. But we needed to see Anakin and Padme over act to the love scenes.

And of course , the epic over drawn out end battle.
