Just got this. Pretty happy with this. Best of all worlds. All the good from the SE and none of the bad.

I downloaded all these ... then read the changelog to see they kept Boba flirting with the dancer in ROTJ

I'll still watch them to see if I like them any better than what I already have. I see these were based on the ohteedee versions, which has been my preferred version so far. So, adding SE stuff back in to the ohteedee versions seems redundant.

As an aside, it absolutely kills me that Lucas went to the trouble of bringing back a guy in a Boba Fett suit, and didn't bother to re-shoot this scene.

I understand an editing/continuity perspective, it makes sense, but FFS, they just flipped the shot. How does that make it better? For all the stuff that Lucas felt compelled to fix, this still lives on. I don't understand.

And none of the fan-editors have been able to fix it yet.

Adywan, you're my only hope. I believe Adywan re-shot some Rebel soldier stuff for the Battle of Hoth, so there's a slim chance that an actor might be brought in to fix this. I'm sure there are numerous people in the 501st who would jump at the chance to be in Adywans's edit.

Putting trans flag colour stripes on the armour is a bit on the nose isn't it?
Not very subtle. This looks like the sort of thing a fan would make for Pride not an official canon addition.
And of course would the Kaminoans tolerate a trooper varying this much from the others.
Will Imperial Officers be wearing red "Make Empire Great Again" caps in future? Since they're putting real world current day things in Star Wars?

No, "Make Empire Great Again" would be WAY too subtle for Disney Star Wars. Instead they'll have the Empire wearing literal red MAGA hats.

But seriously, I mean they are clones of Jango. To be identical in every way. It makes absolutely NO sense for there to be a trans clone or even a gay clone. Like, why? Unless they did it purposely with altering the DNA like they did with Omega and the BB crew. But that was to enhance them. I really never understood Omega being a female either. Maybe the Kaminoans were gonna try some Clone inbreeding next.

I don't think so. Weren't the Bad Batch experiments? Purposely altered clones? Why Tech is super smart. Wrecker is extra strong, Crosshair extremely accurate, and Hunter whatever he was. Remember they took in Echo who was a normal clone.

Omega being a fem clone suggested to have some secret sauce in her genes vital for cloning force sensitivity for old Palpy suggests more "force is female" and opens the door for fem clone troopers later when Omega is inevitably cloned to make fem troopers....

Trans trooper is just another step in the dilution of Jango clones into current day stuff.

I never watched Bad Batch Season 3. Season 1 was OK, season 2 was tough to get through. Every episode in season 2 I wanted to see Echo die... Just like Grogu in Mando s2... I was happy Luke took him at the end of s2. Until the abomination known as BOBF happened..

My son grew up watching Clone Wars & Rebels. I watched them all with him. Some were really good to great.
But also some were not. Even he didn't care about BB Season 3. But I had already cancelled D+ anyway.
