Agreed, I think she'll do fine too. I find all the hate towards Daisy ridiculous and hilarious.

Daisy just seems to be a normal, down to earth nice girl. I think she will do great. The accent I have no problem with. I don't even see why that is a big deal.
Very smart move making one of the main protagonists a girl. My five year old only cares about Princess Leia from Star Wars.

Okay, I didn't mean to stir the pot with the whole accent issue. I'm sure overall Daisy was a good choice for Rey. She is cute.
This is just an introduction to her character SW faithful, she's not supposed to be womanly or regal yet. She's raw, like Anakin and Luke was at first, so she's supposed to be young, aggressive and childlike.
I'm sure by the third film she will be more mature with royalty in her personality and looks, but for now, I think the actress captures what they want Rey to be like in the beginning.
Now let's start focusing on what's appealing about this film

It's not being afraid to speak my mind Difab, as you know I try to always be fair and respect everyone's opinions, you have to be in forums and threads like these.
Some people can really get the wrong impression and take things to personally or literally as I have seen, which I think is bad in some ways because then it becomes cumbersome and drags to far into many pages and we lose focus on the topics of the initial thread.
Yes I know it's the nature of these message boards. But sometimes it becomes too annoying.
