Ive read a few pages and i'll clear up a few people's misunderstandings...

First Adam Driver is playing 2 characters, he plays Kylo Ren and his identical twin brother who has stayed with Leia and is a resistance pilot.

Second is 40% of Oscar Isaac's performance has been cut and replaced with extra scenes with Harrison Ford.

Thirdly, Poe Dameron is Leia's boyfriend after she split from Han.

Evil twin brother.
Oscar Isaac, whos been on a roll almost cut from the movie.
Granny vs young sex.

IM IN!

In 1977 I had no idea who who the hell Luke or Han were either. :dunno

Yes, there was also a time I had no idea who Spiderman, Batman or Superman were either.

Every character has to start somewhere right.*

Let go of your hate, I did, it feels great!* :lol

*Although it is possible that DiFabio's first words when he popped out was Batman. :lol

*I still hate the PT, that's not going anywhere. :lol

This is number 7.... Movie NUMBER SEVEN!!!!!!you shouldn't go with unknowns tho late in the game.

Hey, he hasn't aged a day.

4+

That face when people are excited for a movie whose target audience is toddlers/babies.

:lol

Never seen any of that stuff :lol That shot of Luke with the lightsaber in the beginning was cool. Now those 1/6 scale Luke figures with the floating lightsaber make sense. Damn, they're making toys from deleted scenes? Milking it to the max.

The last time I saw those films was in the 90's on VHS...and the set came with a making off, but no deleted scenes.

Hidden from his father on his father's home planet...with people his father knew, living at a farm where Anakin buried his mother....and keeping the surname Skywalker. Maximum sense!

Yep, makes perfect sense. Luke keeps his sense of identity and legacy, and is safe in the one place in the galaxy Vader would never go...

It makes no sense that they kept his name :lol That be like me going into the witness relocation program and keeping my real name :lol Regardless, it never made any sense for Vader to be clueless about the existence of his own children, while less powerful members of the Skywalker family just sense their relationships. When given a clue from the Emperor, all of a sudden Vader can telepathically communicate with Luke, and even sense Luke's presence through the vacuum of space, and find out the existence of his own daughter from Luke's thoughts. But somehow, he can't sense that Leia was his daughter despite several scenes of interaction, including implied torture. Luke and Leia eventually figured out their relationship on their own, and even engage in some telepathy. Unlike Vader, Luke had incomplete Jedi training at the time and Leia had none at all, so yeah...comics and the EU can try to fix that, but I don't buy it.

Yes, that's from the new Marvel series so it's as official as the films.

Obviously when ANH came out Vader wasn't yet supposed to be Luke's father so there was no need for "retconning" like this.

Does Luke call himself Skywalker at all before Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru are murdered? May be he goes by the name Luke Lars :lol

It would make a great scene on the Death Star if Leia had kept her real surname. :rotfl
