Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

I would suspect news anytime now.

Disney have hired Leavesden Studio for the whole of April, possibly to film a trailer. Its pretty old news now, i doubt they'll release more than who's directing until nearer to April.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

That's what i'm referring to who's directing. LOL we won't see a trailer till next year earliest.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

So you know how you log onto youtube looking for a certain video....then at the end of that video you see another video you want to watch....then before you know it you stumble upon something you can't believe you've never found before the thousands of times you've been on youtube.....I'll just leave this here....NSIAP and if I'm the last SW's nerd to find this then shame on me.

Mark looks good with a beard he should have one in the new episode if he's in.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

Is that a recent Hamill photo? If so he's dropped some weight. He doesn't have a pudge face in that pic. You give him a decent makeup artist and he'd look decent in front of a camera.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

If that picture is recent, I'd almost suspect he had some minor work done. Even weight loss probably wouldn't get rid of his baggy eyes and Shar Pei wrinkles.

But hey, if that is a new pic and he just went back to being more normal looking, than good work by him.

And yeah, beards cover up a lot of flaws and just oftentimes make people look better. He should stick with it.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

I don't care if weighs 1000 pounds and looks like poo. If he can bring his A game, it doesn't matter.

I dunno. Looks to me like his face is just thinned out there with the beard acting like a good detour. :huh :lol

These 3 reprising their roles? I'll take it.

Yup. I'll take him too.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) Discussion Thread

I saw Billy Dee on an episode of White Collar last year. He's looks like he's doing OK.

Yeah, he just did an episode of NCIS a month or so ago, I was thinking can't wait to see you as Lando again...

I remember seeing BDW a few years back on a Lucas tribute show, he was limping heavily and leaning on a walking cane. Hope it's something he's gotten over.

Even if it wasn't, it's something that can just as easily be EU fodder or incorporated into the first film.

For some reason, I'm getting a Star Wars: The Expendables vibe here.

Exactly, I think the partial limp is permanent, no reason an aged hero wouldn't have one.

Yup, I don't recall ever groaning at the chin scar when they incorporated Harrison's real scar into Indy. As a matter of fact that was arguably one of the better moments of TLC. :lol
