I knew he wasn't Luke the moment I saw a cardboard cutout He's a big boy.

Yup, they're all used to his hissy fits I agree, the whole dark side makes no sense and I see no logical reason for anyone to be seduced by an old creepy disfigured guy. Not to mention, their pain doesn't go away...so why stick with the dark side? Maybe the dark side is something from within the person and some are more susceptible to giving in to that negative power? I don't know. Maybe it's like the ring in LOTR, it just takes over people and it affects their judgement.

If I go dark it will be of my own doing, not going dark for anyone.

I will say that the cast was great, esp the new additions: Daisy R and Adam Driver.......

Serious question: was Peter Mayhew Chewie for maybe one scene? That was a lot of running and I know it couldn't have been him, poor guy

I'm happy that you brought up Chewie, I did forget to include him on my positive list although yeah that was definitely a stunt man.

Oh that's right I also forgot to mention 2 things about my show lastnight.

Seriously, I was fighting off the pain the 3d glasses cause on my nose by that scene, so will have to rewatch it all without dying from double glasses action. lol.
Don't waste your time seeing this in 3d.............it was not a good 3d movie

Luke looked rad in his black Jedi Knight robes in ROTJ and he never turned!

@ medical insurance. You might be onto something. If only these guys lived long enough to utilize it. Maul got split in half. Dooku was betrayed by Palps and got his head chopped off. Anakin got all his limbs lobbed off, was burned alive, and spent decades as Palpatine's little *****, servant boy. In fact, he was completely okay with his son taking his place, fully aware that Palpatine would betray him! Does the dark side have benefits and health care? I hope Han and Leia's son has a good plastic surgeon.

On a more serious note, Luke never told him or his other students about Anakin's redemption? About how Anakin loved his son so much that he threw Palpatine's ass down the Death Star pit and became a smiling Force Ghost at an Ewok celebration? Why doesn't Kylo Ren want to emulate THAT guy? Better yet, where's force ghost Anakin? He could have given his grandson some advice before all this Snoke and dark side crap.
