You should've seen me last night I was on the edge of my seat for the movie to start and btw I thought the opening crawl was really well done.

Then all downhill as soon as Han was introduced.

Did I really just type that. :(

DId you drink that bottle of vodka Riddick sent you? Dude miser-roofied you. Sober up and go back.

Saw this movie, and overall, liked it a lot.......loved parts, disliked some stuff....main issue: backstory of New Order and Resistance was way, way, too vague.......and Phasma worthless........couple missed opportunities, but way better than prequels.

That's only because she's written as a Mary Sue. She's the ****ing Neo of the Star Wars universe.

Also, I never want to see people criticize prequel Anakin while putting Kylo Ren on a pedestal. The similarities between those two are huge. He's emo Anakin 2.0 How you could kill kids or your pops is beyond me. The Dark Side makes no sense. I bet I know what music Kylo listens to.

To be fair, Adam Drive's acting makes up for it and the fact that he's like an angry spoiled child works because he's not Vader, while emo Annie with the bad acting was going to become Vader...a beloved character. And that sucks.

The story is so poorly written and kept so vague that this movie actually needs a prequel and not a sequel to it. :lol

32 ****ing years, Batman could retire 4 times!

Late to the party but jye......sorry it didn't do it for you. I know you were excited for the film :(

I thought about the vague, unexplained story points and initially it bothered me. Once I began reflecting, I decided it isn't a bad thing. The OT was a progression story which left a lot of unexplained points from film to film which got answered by the conclusion. I am hoping that is the intent on some vague story lines that they'll be answered in future installments. I come to realize most films wrap up their story within a 2 hr window and I have become accustom to that style of filmmaking. This kinda has the taste of the good ole days cliffhanger (or so I hope).

I agree some points of the film was poorly written or convenient which is an easy way out but overall I enjoyed it. Too bad you don't have the same experience man...

I loved it when he's bitching and the troopers just ignore him and walk away. It's like nobody takes Kylo seriously. Just the way they ignored him was a cool scene.

Driver is good, but he's definitely just like Anakin. They both went to the dark side for silly reasons and betrayed their friends and family for nothing. Why these characters trust weird, crusty old white, hooded guys who give them empty promises of power is interesting to say the least. With Anakin, we atleast got that dramatic scene where he goes nuts at the Sandpeople camp (which I don't think is bad at all). With Ben Ren, I don't know what this ****ing kid's problem is.

Also I want to see Hux and Ren go head to head in a sequel.

I agree with you 100%, they are junk.

But they were made to be junk and they succeeded. :lol

TFA, well, you failed your highness.

Wow that's a mouthful.....SW love becomes SW letdown within 24 hrs...
I think even CW will be a letdown(my personal feeling)

My sister wantes to take me back for a 2nd viewing, she loved it and she's sad that i'm angry. :lol

Nail on head.

Not knowing why made his big scene a "ok, whatever, what a waste".

Disagree totally!

Got no Ani vibes whatsoever and that's a real good thing.

Yup, they're all used to his hissy fits :lol I agree, the whole dark side makes no sense and I see no logical reason for anyone to be seduced by an old creepy disfigured guy. Not to mention, their pain doesn't go away...so why stick with the dark side? Maybe the dark side is something from within the person and some are more susceptible to giving in to that negative power? I don't know. Maybe it's like the ring in LOTR, it just takes over people and it affects their judgement.
